This game has been getting a lot of hate. Like, A LOT. But, if you're thinking about getting it, don't be turned away. This game is rich and beautiful and a heck of a lot of fun. Most of the characters are really interesting, there are a bunch of funny moments, and the amount of quests are mind-numbing. When I first started I said to myself, "I'm going to try to finish the quest lines, keep my Pip-Boy pretty clean." Well, after a couple of hours, I had probably 20 quests lined up that I hadn't done, and an inventory full of desk fans and duct tape as I scoured another raider hideout of all it's delicious screws and adhesive for modding my Scoped Recon Five-Crank Laser Musket, Speaking of the weapons system, weapon modding is really well done. You can take the laser musket from the start of the game and turn it into a sniper, a shotgun, a mid-range rifle, whatever. You can change all of your guns to better suit your play style, and it's great. The armor modding is in my opinion a little less fun, but it's still good. Power Armor modding is the best. There's nothing quite like building a full set of Military X-01f power armor, and even making my first Minutemen T-45c was a lot of fun and extremely powerful. Even though the whole game is a sort of nuclear-irradiated brown, the areas are distinct and colorful in their own right. Sanctuary feels almost normal, and looks like it's sort of recovering with yellow grass. The Glowing Sea, on the other hand, is full of bright orange pools of rads and radiation storms, giving it a dangerous, yet awesome, feeling.
So if you're not sure if you want Fallout 4 or not: Buy it. Trust me.

Borderlands 2. BUY IT!
But seriously, a friend told me to buy this game and though I'd hardly heard of it before and I didn't know what it was, I bought it and my friend and I started up a game. It was on sale, so I bought the GOTY edition, and looking at the character selection menu, I was wondering which character to choose, based solely on how cool they looked. Which was why I was mad when my friend picked Zer0. I eventually choose Krieg the Psycho. And I never regretted it. I was thrown into a game so mind-blowingly fun to play that I started another character to do single player with. And another. And one more. This game does a great job of something that I haven't seen in many games: It makes you feel like a BADASS. By the time you reach level 16, and get your first Gamechanger skill, you never go back. Each character in Borderlands 2 has three skill trees, all focused on different things, and I decided to go down Krieg's Mania tree, which is focused on melee damage and maxing out your health. And I am now a tank. Recently, I played another popular shooter game, and I quickly got frustrated at how quickly and stupidly I died. Borderlands 2 doesn't do that. It's not easy, enemies are hard to kill and sometimes you can get frustrated about dieing AGAIN and having to GO ALL THE WAY BACK and fight that boss ALL OVER AGAIN, but if you manage skills, gear, and play style correctly, you will slaughter enemies like crazy and have a heck of a time doing it. This game is extremely fun, without being stupidly easy or frustratingly hard. And when you finally reach level 31 and attain that final skill in the tree, the fun factor multiplies by ten.
To anyone who's on the fence about buying this game, follow these simple criteria:
1. Is it on sale? (Not necessary but it helps for buying all the DLC)
2. Do you like shooters?
3. Do you like BAZILLIONS of GUNS?
4. Ignore all of these criteria and BUY THE GAME ALREADY
And about playing as Krieg:
1. Do you not like guns?
2. Do you prefer to smash people into oblivion with an axe while yelling about MEAT BICYCLES?
3. Do you want to murder EVERYTHING AND BATH IN THE MEAT CHUNKS?
4. Buy Krieg and play as him.

Dishonored. One of the greatest stealth/action/adevture/puzzle games ever. You play as Corvo Attano, a ninja-assassin-thief-bodyguard gifted with supernatural abilities. The gameplay is AMAZING, the visuals are fantastic, and the missions themselves are really cool. The best part about it is that your actions impact the world. Want a better, cleaner, happier world? Avoid people and Blink and sneak your way through the missions. Want to kill eveyone in sight? Feel free, and watch your impact on the city. You can even get rid of your targets Non-lethally. I recommend it highly. 10/10
