When it comes to survival/base-building games this has got to be one of the best. I've been playing for a number of betas at this point and RimWorld just keeps surpassing expectations and hope with every patch. The game can be brutal. Your survivors can die on a whim but it'll always be enjoyable. The Storyteller AI is always there to keep you interested. It'll deliver blow after blow only to offer a sweet balm before it swoops in for the kill. Clever play and a little luck and you'll be able to build a bustling encampment only to watch it all come down in flames and tears. And let's not even get started on the massive modding scene this game has. You will almost literally never run out of stuff to do.
