This was my first entry to the Yakuza series and I regret not trying it earlier, its so good, it's got fantastic beat-em-up gameplay, a gripping and engaging story centring around the origins of two of the most popular characters from the franchise. I for some reason remember thinking that it was some sort of japanese gta which is a very big and common misconception, it is extremely far from that and is so much more than gta could ever hope to be. There are so many unique parts of the game from the vast variety of mini-games to the large amount of and the side business management minigames that both characters have which are so in-depth that they could have all been their own games. The sub-stories are always so well written as well with hilarious moments and emotional moments too. The Karaoke is a particular highlight with amazing songs such as Baka Mitai (Dame Da Ne as some people named the big meme a while back), Judgement Shinpan and 24 Hour Cinderella.

I've already completed this game several times already playing it on the PS4 and I'm still having fun with the gameplay and leveling up system on PC now. Please try this game if you are on the fence about it or have only just heard about this series, I'm sure you won't regret the fun you have in the cities of Kamurocho and Sotenbori. I'm sure to be a long time fan of the Yakuza series and am excited to jump into the recently released remastered collection as well kiwami 2, 6 and 7!

Essentially a Free version of Half Life with multiplayer.
Very enjoyable to play with friends too.
However, sometimes you can get stuck in certain situations like if one player dies and a door gets locked where they died which softlocks the game.

I'd give it an 8/10

Emily is Away is one of those types of video games that is different in a good way, The Creator is trying something new in the gaming world, ( or either I haven't seen many)
The Path you take with Emily is Away is emotional and exciting!
If you were able to take different paths with Emily that would be better, like how in mass effect and fallout your choices make a difference except for the end though.
I love the direction you're taking with this game, but like i said before let the player have an effect on the story rather than the same timeline over and over again.
Nice work making the game feel so genuine with the Windows XP look!
Overall this is a Very Good Game
