Not a perfect DLC by any means but I enjoyed my time with it.

New regions are great, music slaps as always and the new mechanics are an interesting switch-up on the base game stuff we've gotten so used to. Took a while for it to click but after a while I came to appreciate them.

QOL post-launch has likely contributed a lot to my enjoyment and I don't doubt that more is on the way (some aspects do feel a little lacking, namely certain places where dialogue seems to simply be missing? a little disappointing). I don't doubt that my experience was significantly smoother than those who played the whole thing on release, either due to lucky bug-dodging or the QOL updates doing their job.

Story was even more confusing than Saint which is saying a lot, I enjoyed it but I feel they've left a lot to elaborate on (likely coming with the upcoming content). The environmental storytelling in the new regions was top notch though, arguably better than base Rain World in places.

Definitely worth a play if you're a fan of the genre. The difficulty can be a little hard to overcome at times, but once you get into that massive firefight or stumble into that terrifying dungeon the tension is exhilarating.
The ambience is already very well done and the world building is very interesting + I imagine everything will only improve from here as updates roll out.

Also the Military are mean and nasty (Freelancers for life)
