Just not my thing, and also very PC-intensive.

Preface: I consider myself a Moderate, neither Democrat nor Republican. I went into this game hoping to get a good platforming experience and have a few laughs through political humor.

So, to at least give the game some credit, I can list some positive things:
Making the levels swing-states was a smart idea, I really enjoyed that concept.
The chiptune music ain't bad.
...yeah, that's about it. I mean, I had fun with it up till World 3 (there are 4 Worlds, three levels each). And, in an attempt to be fair in my criticism, I'll separate the opinions on the game design and the opinions based politically.
From a game design perspective, it just seems rushed. There are two music tracks, one for normal levels and one for castle levels. And the normal track, by the end, was hurting my head. Furthermore, the backrounds are the same, one for normal levels and one for castle levels. The only difference is that in each world, the normal backround has been shaded a different color. On top of that, the backgrounds are super generic, like smiling clouds and plain houses. Considering how cool I thought it was that each level was a different state, I was really hoping for the backround to reflect that. On a different note, the difficulty curve is skewed. It's pretty easy, like Super Mario Bros. 1-1 easy, up until World 3. If you are new to platformers, it's a bit of a jump. For someone that grew up with platformers, it's fine. But as soon as you reach World 4, the difficulty just spikes, with you needing to make half-jumps and bounce off of shells. Speaking of shells, the first time I saw a shell, I tried to pick it up, only to die. Just to be clear, this is not made in the image of Super Mario World, in contrast to what the title implies. I understand that they couldn't call it Super Bernie Bros, as there is no other player, but still, it was kind of misleading. In fact, if you are considering this game because you want to get into platformers, just go play Super Mario Bros. It's pretty easy to find on emulation websites. Anyways, in terms of game design, this game is clearly rushed, whether it be aesthetic-related or something like coins being out of sight due to the U.I. (Spoilers: This game doesn't even have a final boss, Trump just gives up, really anti-climactic)
Now, I didn't intend to come out of this game being angry at its agenda, but I did. When you boot up this game, you are greeted with a message that, in summary, states that this game's goal is to encourage you to vote. Cool, I respect that, we definitely need to exercise that right in my opinion. But the game goes on to clearly have an agenda, whether it be imprisoning Republican politicians or straight up stereotyping them. In fact, the end-screen (which is styled in much the same way as the pre-mentioned message) encourages you to, once again vote, but this time, tells you to vote for and even donate to Bernie. I would've let their agenda slide if that message wasn't included, but it directly argues against the first message, which, to me, is false advertising and a clear disregard for other's opinions.
So, yeah, I don't recommend this game. I'm usually pretty lenient with games, as sometimes a certain game simply isn't for me. But this game convinced me that it was letting its agenda get ahead of good gameplay, and that's just not right to me. I hope you feel as if this review helped YOU form your own opinion about this game, and didn't feel like I shoved my opinion down your throat.
Stay Informed, don't trust everything you hear and see.

Despite being fairly new, this game has become one of my favorites, no doubt. The graphics are oddly nostalgic, even for someone like me that grew up after these PS1-esque graphics were retro. It ran really well on my old 2012 laptop, so as long as you are running with a rig post-2012, you will probably have a really good time with this. Gameplay-wise, it's a fast-paced stealth game of watching enemy patterns and being smart with your movement. AND THE MUSIC, IT ROCKS! I played this with earbuds, and it still made me pumped, so I can't imagine how good it is with high-quality headsets.
However, it wouldn't be a review without some critique. The story is fine, it just begs for expansion. There is some much more of this world to see, and it hurts that I can't. Also, the intel you are able to pick up provides some insight, but I would prefer more backstory on the Alpen and the true objective of our agency, as I feel I have the puzzle pieces, but no reference for what it is suppose to look like. And, to be honest, the game is still in development, so that's not really the game's issue as it is a present-time issue. But I do have one major issue with this game, Level 5. No guidance, a reliance on RNG, a complete disregard for a learning curve. I had to use a Steam Community discussion to figure it out.
But, once again, this game is still being actively updated and developed. The devs are planning a speedrunning mode, which fits the game very well, and I hope they consider expanding the story. Despite it's current flaws, I see hope in the dev team, so I still stand strong in my belief that this game is easily one of my favorites on the Steam Store.

and, you know, IT'S FREE! Like, you could easily sell this for a couple of dollars and it be worth the money. But nope, you can have fun for 3 hours (my time's kind of screwed because of my superfluous attempts at Level 5, so it might be closer to 2), listen to a banging soundtrack, and blast some digital heads for the low, low price of NOTHING!

I remember watching Youtubers playing this back in simpler times. And, upon realizing it was on Steam for free, I decided to relive those memories and finally play it myself.
Was it long? No, it took me 33 minutes to complete all the achievements, it's not much of a game as it is an interactive animation.
Was it exciting? No, it's a fine story but it's nothing worth analyzing.
Was it funny? No, I mean unless REALLY sub-par GLaDOS-like humor is your fetish or something.
But, did I get something out of it? Definitely. I got to remind myself of simpler times, when Crazy Craft with Thinknoodles was the only thing my little brain cared about. Amid this current pandemic, I really needed that, so yeah, I recommend this "game,"especially to anyone born in the early 2000s, it'll be a refreshing breath of air.
