i aint even gonna lie this wont change even if they backtrack. arrowhead isnt the best game devs out there but they are a treat to the excessively aggressive monetary industry with some minor hiccups here and there, however they have royally ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up not talking to sony to not push for this requirement on steam especially when its known that the game is globally available with their online service isnt available to the regions that may want to purchase the game

it lacks depth and replay value from how few enemy species in normal and post game while creating a significant issue of constant hitstuns reducing your own combat effectiveness as you are stuck in a staggered animation, as well as having a lack of content after the 1/3 of the game as you spend more time running fetch quests as well as leaving a significant amount of story threads open to never be returned, in its current state i cant recommend it unless you are a die hard fan like some of us who waited those 12 years

It's fun but frustrating when you get stunlocked by swarms of enemies, however it stands firm by itself

Its better than FEAR in terms of combat replay value but made the ammo reserves too low for some of the more fun weapons and questionable mods for some of the weapons other than those two issues its perfect

While i do enjoy it, theres three major things i dont like first being the fact you can take damage and die during cutscenes which is incredibly frustrating after beating a boss, the second is how theres a lack of a map for a metrovania with no rapid movement to travel between zones making it a super annoying to fight through an area to 100% the game, and finally excessive HP padding on enemies with lack of upgrades/unlocks to counter that besides the coin unlocks. Besides all those issues owlboy has both an enjoyable story and interesting puzzles
