Not as Arcade-ish as call of duty, but it feels a lot more rewarding when you get kills and win games.

{Haven't played a Battlefield since BF3 on the 360}

This game is everything I wanted from an ARPG.
Loot, combat, in-depth skill system and awesome build changing unique items.

Clearing screens of mobs with a single click, is the equivalent of lighting up my meth pipe. (JK)
Obviously it is early access so not everything is perfect such as the optimisation and the servers.
GGG thinks that the top 2% of the players is what they should base the balancing off of, which may or may not be the right thing to do, either way as a very casual player i can still have loads of fun and build really decent builds without guides.

For new players i would highly suggest following a build. Just to make getting into the game slightly more enjoyable. once you have an idea of how skills and items and the skill tree work with each other than go ahead and create your dream builds.

If you're on the fence don't buy it and wait for the full release when it'll be free but i can promise GGG is a great Studio and they will do their best to make this game awesome. PoE1 is an incredible game, but very difficult for new players to get into it. So far PoE2 is a-lot easier to get into for new players.

This will be a game I wish I could play again for the first time.

Everything you'd want in an open world.
Game is beautiful and full of stuff to do.
If you're a fan of Dark souls 1-3 you're in heaven with this game.
Haven't even scratched the surface for this game there is so much to do.
