I haven't ever really been a fan of extraction shooters. I wasn't into Arc Raiders when I tried it. I wasn't a huge fan of the aesthetic or atmosphere and theme of that game. This game though, I have just played for over 5 hours with some guys I met in my first match and I didn't even realize that much time had flown by. The game has an awesome minimalist art-style, with cool and appropriate music to go with it. Each Runner has a unique role to fill and playstyle. I have really enjoyed being able to heal my friends and revive them with Triage. Thief was pretty neat too with a very helpful grapple to move around easier. Also if you're on the fence due to not being into the genre, I will offer the same pitch someone else mentioned on Reddit that I saw. It's a fantastic FPS game with great art that plays like a rogue-lite, where other players just play the role of some of the enemies you will encounter. Treating it as a rogue-lite makes it easier to not be bothered by losses and just make the most of what get. If you lose your stuff, you get a free pack of stuff to run another trip with. It has awesome and satisfying gunplay like Halo and Destiny before it, and it's a great starting point for this project and I can't wait to see where they take this game going forward and what content will be added. Highly recommended.

P.S.: I basically never write reviews and have a ton of games on Steam, but due to how much fun I just had and what a positive experience I'm having so far, I had to write something that hopefully helps someone else find a game they'll love and have fun with.
