I start this review by saying I recommend the game. Know that with this choice, I had to put some serious thought into that because this game can be incredibly idiotic sometimes. In the end, I think the positives outweigh the negatives, but let it be known that there ARE a lot of problems with Rainbow Six: Siege.

Pros:
- A uniquely designed game that offers a play-style and a learning curve that is pretty different from anything I've played.
- Actually more than like 5 operators to play and each are somewhat different.
- Cosmetics besides the gray and white quality ones don't look terrible.
- Reasonably fun limited time events (golden gun, larceny)
- Level of fun exponentially goes up with friends (5-stacks are amazing in this game imo).
- I enjoy the fact that Unranked exists, as I don't always like playing competitive but Quick Match can be horrid.

Cons:
- Ranked. Sure, the game is the same, but why would a game ever decide to make RANKED MMR the ONLY factor in matchmaking. Some people don't like Ranked, and now, to have a somewhat more enjoyable experience playing against balanced players, you have to immerse yourself into Ranked.
- Oh, and with that last point, even ranking myself Silver this season because of terrible teammates, I still manage to get high gold players and low PLAT players on the enemy team. But god forbid I get anyone higher than Silver V on my team.
- AND ALSO, I played a Ranked match that was cut short when we were winning 2-1 by Ubisoft's server shutting down, and then later realized that match affected my ranking by counting as an ABANDON and adjusting my MMR by 150 points. What did Ubisoft say when I messaged them? "Can't help you sorry lol".
- The servers are sh-t sometimes and it really pisses me off. (As shown above ^)
- The community is EXTREMELY toxic. Almost Rust level toxic.
- Peeker's Advantage exists and your head will get taken off from the most unimaginable angles 95% of the time.
- Hit detection can be a problem at times, but I have not experienced it as bad as some of my other friends have.
- Spawn peeks really make you want to uninstall the game.
- Inviting friends to your party is harder than telling a girl your crippling anxiety is ruining your relationship.

I could sit here and whine about all the problems with this game, and moreover with this company, as their PR is terrible, but in the end it doesn't matter because I still will go back and play this game later today. F-ck this game.
