It has singleplayer in the tag but its meant to be only played with multiple people, this is no different than minecraft where people agree to form culture/country/rules.

Massive downgrade, in the first versions of it, planets looked stunning, you could actually MAKE things.

Now they don't look like planets AT ALL!, theres literally no more playing aspect to the game, you might aswell just draw the planets

This is the typical case of developers thinking Janky and annoying controls = realism?
You need 6 keybinds for like 1 function, instead of just being able to press the same key twice for yes/no,

Heres what ruins the game the most for me: Terrible attempt at immersion! The game doesn't give you any hints or tips on what things are or how to do them, Let me explain why this is an issue by comparing real-life concepts to the game

Say you had a mission to murder someone, In realife, you'd know some things since you've existed since birth (duh):
Your family: low threat
Your neighbour: medium threat
The president: Highest threat.
MAKES SENSE?
Now, lets put you into elite dangerous, you have no idea where you are, space adventure time!
That spaceship over there: threat?
The spaceship from the mission: shoot it?
uhh.. NO IDEA! BECAUSE WHO WOULD HAVE KNOWN WHAT THREAT LEVEL 6 MEANS WHEN ITS NEVER BEEN TOLD TO YOU! I DIDNT LIVE ELITE DANGEROUS SINCE BIRTH!
Same is applied to mining,

Mine hexunitemiumcapalidium: we will not tell you anything about this without going trough a great pain to figure it out, so youll just google it ruining all immersion, (also you're going to need it to actually do anything at all!)

Yeah thats a negative review

Been out for 6 years,
Mostly unfinished and very user unfriendly, Instead of enabling people to play the game how they want, there are tons of nonsense limitations, Like
-not being able to place items in a crowded truck even though the trunk items have no collision, forcing you to do weird movements,
-not being able to place objects in certain ways even though theres so many silly workarounds, making it a nuisance,
-conveyor belts having to be placed on pipes instead of just letting you place them, You can also place multiple inside of eachother which means it doesn't even solve anything,
-a lot of settings don't save and have to be turned on and off again to work, like headbob,

Basically, The developer focuses so much on making the gameplay annoying, Rather than fixing actual issues, I get the idea is to make the player not exploit everything, but this simply doesn't work, all you're doing is encouraging people not to play, but use glitches and bugs to get things done faster

8 years and still early access, this is trash, like every engineering game unfortunately.

Nonsense GUI and cluttered,
Good game but the GUI is absolutely freaking AWFUL for how long its been in development, really makes me feel like the devs care way more about money than the quality of the game, as there are so many obvious changes you can make,

get rid of 90% of the UI, and make it more straightforward, like why the hell is the location screen on a different window as the multiplayer screen? i could say much more but its just uhg

edit: some time I Might add more to this review, but another complaint, You cant change peoples voice volume without changing the games volume, i get the logic but its just dumb and unintuitive, not everyone has a good mic, i dont want the games volume to constantly overide my friends mic

This game is INSANELY unoptimized, I reach 94% GPU usage in the freaking MENU!!!
-Motion blur is on by default, which does not AT ALL suit the gameplay style
-Game looks like absolute TRASH for how unoptimized it is
-7 studio plugs when starting the game??? what the hell let loose?
-Constantly changes things that people don't like being changed
