Charming little skating game. Once you've learned the controls, the combo system is fun to play with, the "Big Friend" framing story and quests are charming, and the levels are well laid out.

Adorable game -- wander through generated arenas and punch people until they explode, looking for the ultimate boxing glove. It's easy to pick up, but the different gloves and dips give it some variety, and the later levels are decently challenging. Feels like a goofy first-person brawling version of BoI.

Fantastic game that exactly captures the feel of the tabletop. It's not an exact port, but it's perfectly adapted to the computer.

Excellent space semi-sim; all piloting/combat is locked to a 2D plane, which feels unintuitive at first but makes for interesting gameplay, as combat becomes strongly shaped around massive broadside fire between capital ships. Allowing any ship or turret to be sold back for its original price allows you to experiment with different combat styles and find one that works best for you without losing anything longterm.

My sole complaint is that the middle of the game involves a little bit of grinding, as you have to get an upgraded heavy frigate or destroyer in order to finish up the storyline quests. But this is a pretty small complaint on what's otherwise an excellent game.

A walking game similar to Dear Esther, where you explore an environment while being presented with a story.

The story is anvilicious and heavy-handed, but you may not get to it anyways; as of 2015, there's a horrific memory leak in the game (to the tune of ~100KB per second), and even strong PCs will drop to <15fps after a few minutes of playing. The only way to actually make progress in the game without headaches is to exit and restart the game after every checkpoint.

Short but very fun platformer. Took ~2 hours to finish all endings, but quite fun.

A retro-ish platformer that is practically a love song to the original NES Metroid, but with plenty of twists, borrowed game mechanics from other NES classics, and modern functionality to keep things fresh.

An FPS that prides itself on filthy language, crass humor, and impressive-looking kills.

The game's core gimmick is a point system that rewards creativity and variety in killing enemies. You're encouraged to mix up weapons, make use of environmental hazards, and do group / chain kills where possible. Quick-time events get a bit excessive near the end.

2D side-scrolling platformer set in a zombie apocalypse in mid-1980s Seattle.

Pros: Fantastic art style and sound mastering, fairly decent platforming puzzles.

Cons: Very short (3-4 hours) with low replay value. Finicky controls. Some levels have painful bugs that you will have to sidestep; the late levels require some trial and error to get past. The true ending is hidden behind an achievement that is nearly impossible to get, due to said bugs.

Puzzle FPS involving using a gravity-gun to manipulate a gigantic rolling ball. It's a little longer than it should be, and the framing story (Aztec ruins and lost civilizations) loses steam pretty quickly; however, it's still fairly fun, takes 4-5 nights to do 100%. If you find it during a Steam sale for under $8, it's not a bad waste of time.
