It's pretty obvious playing this game that many of the developers are ex-Telltale. It follows roughly the same formula of a visual novel, split into seasons which are sold separately, with mostly minor choices sprinkled throughout. This time around there is more of a 'game' with the dispatching and hacking, but that mostly just serves to break up the visual novel segments. Personally, I've enjoyed this kind of game from Telltale and others in the past and Dispatch's new elements feel like an improvement. Animation and voice acting are also standout and overall I'm happy with the game despite its short runtime. If you're hesitant maybe wait and pick it up when they inevitably release a version with all the seasons bundled together.

This game has held my attention in a way that not many other roguelites have. If you like puzzles and roguelites and the combination of the two sounds interesting, then I think this is an excellent title and worth checking out. It's not without flaws, sometimes the randomness can be frustrating if you want to go for a specific puzzle, but overall I quite enjoy it. There are very few runs where I feel like I didn't learn something. I've also noticed a lot of puzzles have multiple places you'd find clues for them, so usually if I get stuck I find exploring new rooms helps unblock me. My only real criticism is that I wish it recorded the clues for you in game. I can understand why the devs chose not to but I wish there was at least an option. Screenshots and notes in the steam overlay are an okay substitute.

This is not a traditional game by any means but if you can get past the walking simulator style gameplay I strongly recommend playing this. Don't read up about it beforehand, just go in blind and I don't think you'll regret it.

Seriously one of the best RPGs out there. If you enjoy story driven games this pretty much a must purchase. Even at full price this game easily has enough content to justify it.

Barely played it so far but already a great platformer. A little slow at first as you unlock abilities and explore as there's no in game map but this really scratches the old school metroidvania itch. Easily worth the asking price.

One of the best COD campaigns, ruined by egregious pricing and buggy PC port. I can't remember what I bought this for but it was definitely too much. Be prepared to fight crashes and bugs. I had to use safe mode on my PC to even be able to initially launch the game as otherwise it fails to create necessary game files. Even still it crashes often. If you really want to play this, check out third party mod clients which at least solve most of the crashes and let you play on servers with bots but both official and modded multiplayer servers are pretty much dead.

Outstanding atmospheric platformer from the creators of Limbo. I highly recommend this game, despite its short playtime.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend buying this game. Years after its release there are still frequent frame drops and crashes. While the gameplay is quite good and a notable improvement from previous titles, the technical issues make it hard to enjoy. I haven't finished the game yet, however I've heard the ending is very abrupt and offers poor resolution. So far, the main story is compelling but a lot of the side quests end without proper resolution as well. Overall you should only really consider purchasing if you're a fan of the series and are aware of the numerous issues this game has, technical and otherwise.

I bought this game many years ago, probably through some kind of Humble Bundle. I originally tried to play it and got tired of the pacing and combat and gave up on it. After many years, I finally got around to giving it another go and boy am I glad I did. The combat system and pacing takes a bit of getting used to, but it's worth it for the atmosphere and storytelling. Get used to not trying to kill every enemy you encounter and working on stunning them with the flashlight and running away. Once you're used to these elements of the game, it reveals a fantastic story. I would definitely recommend this game. Just be sure to go in with an open mind as there aren't many other games like it.
