I think Baldurs Gate 3 overshadowed this game in a lot of ways, but I don't think it should. Baldurs Gate 3 is good, don't get me wrong, but when you compare the mechanics of DnD to the system they have here, this one is far more enjoyable. It's not perfect (God I miss jumping and shoving), but this game does more correctly, imo.

The story, personally, is more captivating. You start in similar ways, but the companions are much much more interesting to explore, and I found myself way more hooked in this one, than BG3. I do want to stress that BG3 is a great game, but I think Larian really cooked on this one.

Its all just so tiring.

Wait, why is the sun up?

Works well, takes a little tuning, but what program doesn't these days. Honestly, good product, and when I had an issue, the developer helped me out within the hour, truly a legend

The reason this game has so many bad reviews is because the developers are clearly in it for the money, not to make their game great. If they truly wanted to improve the game, they would fix the connection issues, they would fix all of the hacks, they would actually optimize the game.

But instead, they work on making it an Xbox game, so they can sell more.

Seriously, why?

When i first played this game, I had just finished watching The Walking Dead, and i thought i would look for an entertaining zombie game. I had heard the name Dying Light, and i knew it was a zombie game, so i downloaded it. I really didnt expect to have this much fun with it.

Graphics: Simply put, the game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beautiful. The atmosphere, the debris, the dust gliding through the air. Everything looks very beautiful. While there are occasional lighting bugs, i can say with confidence that they are rare, and do not effect the game whatsoever.

Gameplay: A lot of games try to go for parkour in their game, because its "cool". Mirrors Edge comes to mind, and that game was fun. But then i remember games like Brink, that completely tanked, because the parkour just wasnt well done or well implemented. But this game does it fantastically. When running from rooftop to rooftop, it feels natural and extremely fun. And when you start leveling up, thats when you can really take advantage of the beautiful city that was created.

DLC: So The Following basically removes the free running aspect, and replaces it with cars. Normally, i wouldnt like it, since the free running was so well done. But i have to say, they really worked to make the car mechanic feel extremely good. It honestly doesnt feel like a DLC Mechanic. I can't say much for the DLC story, besides i dont like the ending

All in all, a great game, and i would reccomend this game to anyone

I'll be honest with you. The bones of this game arent bad. Pretty impressive for the teams size. However, there is no meat on them bones. Since the scale of the game is so huge, there is just not enough to fill everything. So you're left with boring, empty planets, looking for boring materials to fuel your ship, whilst simultaniously having to do that with a miniscule inventory. The worlds are pretty, but boring. The aliens are cool, but boring. If you're looking for a game where you can look at pretty worlds, this is a great game.

But if you've been looking forward to this since E3. Go in with low expectations, and leave with even lower ones.

Actually an extremely fun game, died out because the mentally handicaps at Monolith thought that their time was better spent on bringing a MOBA TO A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CONSOLE. Are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me? Could have made this game so big, and they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ leave halfway. Idiots
