This game is amazing. The rocky launch can't deter from this game being great. I feel bad for the early adopters, myself included, but ultimately, CDPR got their stuff together, made a banger game, and I still hop into it from time to time just to explore the city and have fun

Early Access Review
A fun little game that really does get expansive as you go on. Being made by one person, and the storm it drummed up on it's release, really helped boost this game into a light it may not have seen otherwise, but that's okay since it really is an enjoyable game. Enjoy it in multiplayer since that's the most fun in my opinion, but single player is a valid option.

Enjoy it, have fun!

Fun follow up to the first game. The graphics are a huge upgrade to the first, while feeling nearly identical in it's game play. I'm so glad I didn't have to fiddle with anything regarding this game. No mods required to get it going and working flawlessly, unlike the first title (still worth checking out though). I don't know if I enjoyed this game more than than the first, but both are fun to play back to back. I've played the third entry years back, and I think it worked better that way, seeing as a lot of the first two game don't come into play.

Tl;Dr, fun game, check it out, no mods required

I picked this game up while in Early Access, and it was thoroughly enjoyable, if not slightly repetitive. Now that this game has reached what seems to be more of a service continuation rather than full massive updates (Thank you Den of Wolves for that, even though I'm very excited for the game), it feels appropriate to write a review now.

The atmosphere always leaves you with a tingle on your neck, and the intentional slow movement that you do to avoid alerting Sleeper's adds even more to that. Weapon variety is actually good, even with a relatively small number of firearms in the game compared to other titles, and the enemies are both fun to engage, and terrifying to encounter and see running you down when the ♥♥♥♥ does hit the fan eventually.

This game REQUIRES co-op, even if it allows for solo play. Having competent teammates that you can coordinate and strategize with is pertinent to finishing levels, and there are quite a few, especially now compared to the Early Access version. That can be a deal breaker for a lot of people, but the community on Discord and online is still having a blast playing, and inherently working together better than most of other gaming communities.

Have fun with the game! It's a daunting ride, but by far some of the most enjoyment you'll get from a style of game like this

The game has definitely aged gracefully, and the continuous updates makes sure of that as well. The game play and visuals are great, and most players are worth their salt, especially on those higher difficulties.

I won't be the first and I won't be the last, but charging for new classes after already paying for the game isn't my favorite, and the microtransactions are also less-than-micro in most cases, and are typically just reskins of colors on the uniform, or some very avant-garde getup. The studio needs to make money, and to be fair, the game isn't a full-priced charge, but the point remains.

Beyond those gripes, everything else about the game is still very fun, and I'm looking forward to the future content of this game

Before you go and get yourself this game, please note that it took A LOT of messing around to get a desirable (more like playable) experience. This game does NOT enjoy being played on modern hardware, so if you decide to indulge, just be aware, The community content for this game is mandatory.

Beyond that, the game is actually really fun, especially for a gritty noir shooter that came out all the way in 2001. This isn't an easy game by any means, and you will be punished over and over again, but very infrequently does it feel unfair, and when it does, I feel it easy to chop it up more to padding than anything; an early 2000's game it most definitely is.

This game is honestly a very hard recommendation, mostly because of the technical requirements to actually play the game, but the guides and moderate ease of installing the mods won't prevent a more dedicated individual to playing, and the player that does decide to play will have a pretty fun 10-hour romp through Max Payne's shoes

This game is nothing short of amazing, and it's unfortunate we didn't get much else out of the series except a VR title years too late. There are some hiccups every now and again, but everything still holds up, even the often-times goofy facial capturing. The cases are fun and engaging, the characters are all great, and the game play, at least to me, never got stale.

Sale or not, this is worthy of a purchase, and definitely so to finish all the way through

This game is immensely fun, genuinely funny, and 100% holds a candle to the films. Gameplay is fun and you feel yourself and your team getting stronger as the game goes on, and each team member adds something unique to the team.

The game ran fairly smoothly during gameplay, but if I alt-tabbed out of the game, it would take a sec to get back in, and then eventually would lead to a crash. I never validated my game files, so maybe something was a bit busted, but just be forewarned. Other than that, though, there were no other glaring problems.

Definitely pick this one up when it's on sale, or even when it's not, it's still a fun blast to go through. It's at least 15-20 hours of story, and that's just the perfect length for a game like this

I played through the first wo Hazelight Studios' games, and both of those were super fun and enjoyable times with my friend. Once we got to this one, we were excited to get going. The gameplay itself is reminiscent more from It Takes Two, but the story and beats remind me more of A Way Out. The art direction and the character moments are probably the best from the studio, and the gameplay itself still remains fun, even if you're acting as the auxiliary character at that moment in time, and there isn't really a bad moment I can think of in the game. They reference levels and setups from their previous titles, which is also nice, and seeing new characters come around every game, and getting attached to them is this studio's bread and butter, and I can't wait to see what the next title they decide to come out with is!

A fun romp through a super stylized world built around Heavy Metal (specifically 70's and 80's metal) with fun humor and a lot of care put into the world. If you like Jack Black's humor, it won't get grating, and if you like cameos of metal artists, it's got that as well.

I didn't care for the RTS elements when I was younger when I played the game, but it really isn't that bad, and the game doesn't punish you until the late game, where by that time you should be comfortable with the whole system. It's still not entirely my favorite, but I enjoyed the gameplay nonetheless.

I got it as a humble bundle years ago, so it's always best to pick it up when it goes on a crazy low sale or if it appears again on the bundle.
