I came to the game expecting to hunt monsters

I left the game looking everywhere for a slope so I could do the funny air spinning hammer attack

5/5 would spin again

If you want to pick this up to enjoy having a custom character walking Hogwarts this might be the game for you
also the game looks pretty dang good and they cram a lot of cute details where it matters

If the idea of eventually spending a majority of the game travelling to places skipping over sprinkled areas that are largely forgettable and boiling down the combat to mashing the "parry" button until you beat the game worries you, perhaps pick this up on a bigger discount.

I appreciate that they really went for the Hogwarts in the title but I hope the Legacy is just whatever the sequel brings to the Wizarding World universe.

I'd rate it a 7/10

If your friends are good at platforming you should get this game
If your friends are bad at platforming you should get this game

If it's the latter it'll be more hilarious

Parkour in this game might be the most fun mechanic I've ever experienced in a video game

If you want to get back into yugioh without dumping 1000 dollars on real life cardboard this might be the game for you
Also the graphics are amazing and you can probably make your first couple decks with a little bit of up front gameplay

It might not be the game for you if

You want to climb ranked with your 20 year old deck
You expect there to be best of three matches (its best of one)
And most importantly of all

if you want to dump 1000 dollars on DIGITAL cardboard

You wanna play Yugioh pre-link era? Well this is the game to play!

Some of the more dated reviews don't do this game justice. It's actually a really fun platform fighter.
Even in most cases, the people arguing about the sticker/skin system forget that it's a FREE TO PLAY GAME.
And by the time you reach platinum (About the rank you start reliably running into actual players as opposed to AI players) you'll have amassed a small amount of colorful stickers (The stickers people say are essentially P2P) for characters.

It's a delightful game with creative characters with pretty obvious nods to another very popular platform fighter. Easy to pick up as well. Lobby match times during slower times are quite questionable moreso for 2v2 modes.

I picked this game up curious for the ICEY crossover,
and stayed for the goofy characters and easy to pickup gameplay.

I'd give this game a 4/5.

I can play a top down roguelike with my friends.

The only complaint is we don't get a third CPU player if it's just a two player game.
