Very fun and cute little platformer with some interesting lore sprinkled in. Feels like a combination of classic Crash Bandicoot with a dash of 3D Sonic gameplay.

Crumble is a physics-based (very physics-based) platformer that is an absolute blast to play. I've been following it since I saw it toward the beginning of the summer on Steam and played the demo, and after it finally released today, I can confidently say my expectations were completely met.

It only took me about 4ish hours to beat the main campaign but there's lots of replay value and a handful of other content besides the main levels. It simply feels so fun to control, and I had a smile on my face the whole time. I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes physics-based movement, wants a relaxing game to play, or just wants to swing around like Spider-Man!

Noita is a rogue-like style game. You play through multiple floors, acquire passive upgrades as well as stronger weapons, and work your way to the bottom to beat the boss. It has a very nice soundtrack for the aesthetic it's going for. The art style and pixel physics are incredible and look beautiful even in the most frustrating situations.

This game is very difficult. Many people will purchase it and put it down soon after because it will persist in kicking their asses without remorse. With that said, the difficulty is exactly the way it should be. It will take a bit a time, but you will eventually learn the patterns of things that kill you and become skilled in avoiding death. However, that doesn't mean you will stop dying, nor will the game become easy.

This game is presented as fairly linear, in that it presents the opportunity to progress to the next floor as you make your way downward through the different standard areas. However, the game is very large and very rich in content far beyond the "standard" reaches of the game. Don't look deeper into it online until you've found yourself wondering about something specific, because at that point all the pieces will start to fit together for you. I will say, though, that if you're familiar with "game breaking" item combinations in other rogue-likes, especially The Binding of Isaac, then you should aspire to find those in this game too. The developers have surely made it so that only particular synergies of spells can get certain jobs done, and so the combinations you feel like you weren't supposed to be able to find are surely possible for any number of particular reasons.

If you like rogue-likes like The Binding of Isaac where every run is randomized and new, you will most likely enjoy Noita. It has lots and lots of replay value for this reason. If you like challenging games like Dark Souls, you will probably like this game as well. The feeling of learning an enemies movements in Dark Souls and then feeling the challenge being overcome doesn't transfer to Noita quite as well, but over time you'll realize that the "hard level" for you (where you tend to die often) gradually moves to harder and harder areas, and that becomes very rewarding.

It's a great experience that isn't receiving nearly enough attention, and I recommend everyone at least try this game.

This game is one of my favorite not-too-talked-about indie games on Steam. Very interesting and fun puzzle game with a, even more interesting narrative. I recommend this to anyone to at least try.

Realm of the Mad God is one of those games where on the surface you hop on and you play with a friend that told you about it and it's a super simple game where you just fight stuff and there's perma-death. After getting into it a bit more, this game has plenty of depth and lots of different things that make it unique. It has enough things and a big enough and dedicated enough community that they have their own lingo and abbreviations for almost everything, and if you have any experience with MMOs then you'll know what I mean by that. Fun to try once, fun to get deeper into as well, and it's free. It can definitely get quite stale after a while though.

This game is tons of fun but can definitely be discouraging or hard to get into for some people. Best played with friends, but either way is a lot of fun.

Just a simple game consisting of jumping and gliding over fences. It's pretty good though.
