A wonderful game like nothing else!

A very promising start! Gorgeous visual style with plenty of charm and a really fun driving model. It can take a few laps to shake off the expectation of easy arcade-style handling, but once that happens it all feels pretty natural. The ability to customise the colours used in the liveries is a nice touch!

Looking forward to seeing how the content grows moving towards the full release.

I've been following this for so long and am happy to say the wait has been worth it! The pixel art, the soundtrack, the cyberpunk theme - it's all exactly as was promised. Even uses a font that closely mimics the old LucasArts gems.

This genuinely feels like an old 90s point & click and I mean that as the highest level of compliment. Play this game.

It's ok. The visuals are nice, and the progression is a fresh take if not a little grindy. Collision with objects is annoying though, and the game has delayed actions because of the animations I guess. Dodge doesn't go off quickly enough, for example. It's just not snappy enough for this kind of game.

Biggest issue is that it gets samey quite fast. Each new area of a world is just the last area with a palette swap and maybe one or two new or modified enemy types. The basic swarm-ey enemies feel the same on each map type too, just with a different graphic. Playable characters are poorly balanced, ranged is powerful at first but by the time I had unlocked all characters the melee ones boiled down to holding the attack button and letting stuff run into you to die.

I'm about 2/3 through, started the next area and saw it's more of the same. Just not entertaining enough to keep going.

Gameplay too basic, literally just sloooooowly drift about pushing button on planets for a chance at resources when not in combat. Controller support is half-baked, had to try multiple times to get it to register. Xbox One pad sort of works at a minimal level, PS4 pad wouldn't despite no issues in other games. Controls are poor anyway, it's just not good :\
