ok so with 6 hours of game play at the time of writing this review i can say the game has the basic survival requirements and adds a whole twist to it with the realm mechanic making it feel similar to games played in the past while still new and fresh. so even with 6 hours in im still following some of the "guided" path to help learn new things so just goes to show the reviews left after only 1 hour of game play are just pure laziness. i can say the ai combat has a mixture of melee without weapons, melee with weapons and ranged combat making the encounters more and more challenging as you progress within the realms.

i don't really care to review products often because one person might love something another person cant stand. but i have a hard time being silent here. yes i only have 5 min in this game so far that is all it took to realize how similar this was to this devs last abandoned project karagon. which this solo dev released back in February and last update to it was 5 days after release. so much is so similar that these "dinosaurs" even sound the same as the robotic "dinosaurs" in karagon. disappointing that someone has a "vision" and then abandons it on release claiming it is done and that they completed their vision and im willing to gamble that the same will happen here.

this project was "completed" and abandoned so fast not because it is actually any good but because this dev decided it best to focus on his reskin of this game and called it grand emprise. such a shame just a little more love and the games might actually be good.

great game a lot of fun. even more fun if you play with friends. highly recommend.
