Very good game, polished (for the most part) and a good gameplay loop. The community is also unexpectedly wholesome, lot's of good encounters with random Raiders on the surface.

Great Aliens experience, this game rocks

Deeprock is a polished game, very little flaws, but it's easy. Darktide has RuleofCool but it's lacking depth. Also it's vision of difficulty is mobswarms. The Starship Troopers game was amazingly fun for 3 days then everyone stopped playing due to it's overwhelming number of flaws.

Helldivers is more starshiptroopers than the starshiptroopers game, has more depth than darktide, has a better understanding of difficulty scaling as well, and finally when it comes to a cinematic experience, most extractions on Helldivers feel like you actually might lose. They invoke real urgency and adrenaline in the player, and this makes the game best in class in terms of fun per hour. Democracy!

if you like 'Nexus Wars' or 'Direct Strike' style custom games in starcraft two, this game is on that same vibe but with more depth, strategy, and choices. Great pickup!

solid game for some casual squad v squad v environment play. casual enough for everyone to be decent, and high enough 'skill ceiling' to allow for some real skill to shine through
