I am not a troll or a hater, I am a deeply disappointed fan. The AI is embarassingly bad for a stalker game. They will shoot you through solid cover because they cannot navigate the gameworld properly. As a result, the devs are incapable of making A-life 2.0 work at all despite it being a core feature of what makes the Stalker series special, and an advertised feature promised by the devs.

The mod tools are the only hope I have for this game at this point, but as far as I'm concerned Stalker 2 is a failed project and a pariah among its previous titles.

To get the most out of this game you have to be creative and imaginative. The endgame is kind of irrelevant because this is the story of how your character dies, but if you set your own goals and achievements this can be one of the most satisfying gaming experience you can possibly have.

I've played loads of survival games over the years and this one just does it all. I admit sometimes i take long breaks from it but i always come back. The fun pimps have surprised me with their updating and content dumps that it just really appreciate this game on a level that is just not common. The game is not perfect, but it's satisfying and no matter how often you play the game will surprise you. Wandering around a dark house with a baseball bat, trying to be quiet and cunning while you loot is just second to none.
