I personally cannot recommend this game. Had you asked me a week ago, I would have given it a glowing review. As it stands, with the current situation with Sony, I cannot in good consciousness say I would want more friends to play it. In and of itself, it's a fantastic game. But the recent changes, forcing a player base to sign up for a third-party account, are inexcusable. This was not communicated to the greater steam player base upon purchase. What's worse, Sony has made no statements addressing this change and the havoc it's wreaking on the player base. Instead, they choose to silently remove the purchase button in the play store for people in regions that do not support PSN.

Edit: I will not be editing this review until sales have been resumed in Non-PSN accessible countries. I very much remember WoTC trying something similar with appeasing their playerbase, then attempting to push the changes silently a couple months down the line. My faith in Sony has been lost, and this company, though caught in the crossfire, has also been a part of this. I'm sorry the devs spent so long pushing an extremely fun experience for us, but the principle stands.

The assets are really basic to look at but the sound design and ambiance really make this game. The jumpscares aren't always obvious and even if you're expecting a ghost to show you a sign it's there, you're never quite prepared for it to breath into your ear. It's great to play with friends and runs pretty dang smooth. The only consistent issue we've had was in game voice, but I'm sure that will be fixed down the line. Great game, gives me the chills and makes my chest ache in fear. A+
