Retro-modern graphics and a damn fine gameplay loop easily make this one of my favorite releases this year. I do wish the music was a bit more prominent as it was in the original but what is there is pretty good. My only other complaint is that the melee and impacts on the enemies in general are just kinda shrugged off.

I first picked up this game in December of 2018 and at that point it was a solid base and a pretty decent community but it slowly trickled down to being about a thousand players which is when I stopped playing. Recently picked it up again after some friends mentioned that they were interested in it since it hit 1.0 and I am having a blast with it. I want this game to succeed and to keep a player-base engaged.
