Small disclaimer, I playtested the game before release, so my actual playtime is somewhere in the 20-30 hours.
This game is genuinely one of a kind. I love precision platformers, and Derelict Star manages to keep that heart while making it approachable and puzzling. Every area of the game is well designed and polished. I love the range of difficulty in challenges, this absolutely appeases the platforming sickos like me while still being approachable to those who just want to experience the main content. And I very much respect the game for outright telling you that the collectable orbs are only for the love of the game.

I hardly ever write reviews but if any game deserves it it's this one.
This game is a masterclass in puzzle design. It manages to squeeze out every possible little interaction and mechanic with just a few simple base elements, and then continues squeezing further than I thought was possible.
I was surprised over and over with its clever solutions. The layout of the map is perfect for slowly revealing interactions, and the secrets require such intricate problem solving, every hidden room was a delight.
This is a work of art. Highly recommend.

One of the best games I've ever played. Incredible amount of content, really good level design, and extremely fun mechanics. And above all else... so many hidden secrets.
