I'm biased. I love this game. If you're looking for the ability to really make impactful decisions in a game world and experience a truly engaging story, here you go.

Fallout 3 and 4 do maintain somewhat superior exploration, I guess? I hesitate to say that, because while there certainly is more stuff to see, I can't really say I find the locations in those games nearly as interesting compared to New Vegas. I guess it's sort of a quality over quantity situation, but obviously it's hard to totally knock Bethesda's environmental storytelling.

I experienced some technical difficulties every once in a while, but they weren't too bad. Periodically, the game would crash, but frequent saves are kind of my thing anyway.
