Glad to see they learned from their screw ups, and genuinely made something better. Only dealt with 1 bug which wasn't a big deal, otherwise everything has worked flawlessly. Boss fights are really fun and difficult, new mechanics are really cool. Not a huge fan of the temporary items but they are fairly optional. The new drone changes however I really like. Overall, if this is what we can expect going forward, I think Gearbox might actually keep Risk of Rain going properly.

This game doesn't deserve all of the hype it's getting. Is it better than Call of Duty? Yeah absolutely. But is it a good Battlefield game? Or a good game at all? No.

It's like all of these developers have no idea what makes a game fun or exciting. I'm sick of these games having the generic electronic/dubstep music, the michael bay sound effects and explosions, all of these post effects and heavy emphasis on graphics, battle passes and over the top character skins, the tactical sprint/sliding/diving/whatever mechanics, but then when it comes to actually making a game that is fun, maps that flow well or have interesting/creative ideas, cool design choices, anything - there is nothing.

I'll always reference Damavand Peak as a prime example. Someone sat down and thought "wouldn't it be incredible if everyone jumped off a cliff and parachuted down together onto the next objective?" and they made that. Moments like that were what defined Battlefield, you could tell the developers wanted to make the game fun for the people playing them. That does not exist anymore, this game - while technically impressive and bringing back a lot of the things people were missing - is still soulless like every other AAA game that comes out anymore.

I load in with an m4 and a makarov, with a friend. Friend does not have any guns.
Friend proceeds to grab makarov out my holster and shoot me in the head, then turn the gun on himself.


Very good game im addicted to it

this game regularly gives you moments that would only happen in a movie, also i am addicted to it please help me

its good but it counts hours even when you arent actively using it, just by having my vr plugged in it keeps starting it up and logging hours, saying i have 100 hours in the past 2 weeks.
i dont understand why this runs like a game instead of like how big picture mode does.

this game is really special. i didnt expect much out of it after playing life is strange 2, to me that game just failed on everything that made the original so good, and i was worried this would have the same problems. i was also worried about the story, given that the power seemed very gimmicky and just... odd. but it turned out to be an incredible experience that stands on it's own, and it's just so unique and the power fits perfectly into the game. it's just unfortunate to me that it's 60 dollars for 10 hours, because if it was priced better, i think the game could easily get overwhelmingly positive reviews.

i do think, however, that for what it's worth, it's a good thing that it is only 10 hours. a problem with some of the other games in the series, or games of this type, is there is a lot of just walking around and doing a lot of nothing, which of course will pad out the time, whereas this game manages to pack every little place full of details, minigames, everything just feels like it has a purpose, which makes it a lot better to play. i think if they lowered the price this game would be near perfect.
