Really fun toy to move your PC screen and PC Gaming to your living room! It works basically using the "Family Sharing" options within Steam to basically share the screen from your PC, stream it (LIVE!) to the TV and a few approved controllers + keyboard + mouse + sound. So, you're really playing games on your PC, but everything gets shared through the device. A couple of drawbacks I noticed after several hundred hours of use now.

1) As far as I know, there is still no options available for using a gaming headset (for live chatting and so forth), or even a microphone for that matter. So. No Skype-type chatting with gaming buddies over a Link. Allegedly, they were working on voice support, but I still don't think they will work.

2) Occassionally, I would have issues with running some games in either "Full Screen" mode, or in "Windowed" mode, etc. MOST Strictly Steam Games did not present a problem, but for instance, running Diablo III caused issues with displaying properly, and I had to mess with the video settings to get it to stream properly. This brings me to my third point of contention.

3) It will only run games that are technically in your "Games" Library. Not a huge deal as you can add any third-party programs you'd like, but that is generally when you can get issues with screen streaming (Such as Diablo III, which is a 'third-party' app, as Steam calls them.

4) I have a 4k display, and was not able to stream it 'wirelessly' through the link - thus, I had to drag an ethernet cable to my steam link and hook it to my router. However, 1080p worked Great! Wirelessly!

The Pros:

1) Stream games wirelessly, effortlessly! Simple setup, no messing with dragging ethernet cables around the house, etc (only 1080p though). I would also recommend the latest Wireless tech (G-Standard) or it might be kinda flaky. I was using a wireless G-network, and was able to reliably stream 1080p. Of course that also depends on distance to router, etc. So, tread with caution on this one (which is why they just recommend wired ethernet, because it's guaranteed to work).

2) It doesn't just 'stream games', it's actually technically streaming your entire monitor, really. And then just places the game on Fullscreen mode. However, you can kill the console-like steam app, and put it in a "Just share my desktop" mode. So, you can surf the web, check your email, etc, all from your living room, all Wirelessly!

3) A really slick front-end, "console-like" User Interface and User Experience. Use it to list, display, categorize your games, browse the store, buy games, play music from your PC, etc. It literally feels like you're using a console when running the Steam UI, like you were on a PS4 or something. But, no, it's your PC! And all your PC games...

In Summary:
Overall, very very slick, very cool little box. This thing in my opinion, revolutionized my ability to game in my living room with PC Games. Short of just dragging your PC into the living room and hookng it up to an HDMI slot, this little box will give you the ability to just 'pretend' your PC is physically in your living room, when it's not.

Don't be fooled by the 16-bit graphics-style. This game is overflowing with charm and is unbelievely dense and immerssive. Although sprawling and largely a game of exploration, there are some fairly dense and meta-gameplay elements and some difficult puzzles. When played to completion, this can be one of the most enjoyable and rewarding games. BUT: Resist the urge to look up cheats; don't ruin the experience!
