very fun game with countless play styles to suit a variety of players' interests. not to mention a terrific selection of workshop items for even more customization.

as a note, ive always considered myself the type to prefer slower-paced skyrim over the comparitively faster-paced fallout series. fallout 4 is a fun game, with a decent amount of quests and some positives. i like the characters, but the majority seem fairly bland, with the occasional character's lore being their saving grace. i like upgrading my weapons and armour- i tend to get more attached to them than i did things in other rpg games. although im highly critical of the game, i do believe its decent and would appeal to many.

i felt fairly limited while playing the game. i didnt like my options for endings, as i felt that i didnt whole heartedly support any one faction, therefore i felt reluctant to continue. i figured id go with the minutemen, but i got so tired of hearing preston and his stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with one quest after another i found it more fun to just explore. i found the settlement system beyond annoying, as i DESPISED having to check up on settlers every few minutes, even though i went to great lengths to prepare each additional settlement.

if i were the modding type, im sure this game could be much more entertaining- i know there is a mod that makes settlements much more independent. however, i believe a game should still be enjoyable at its core, and i feel the game is lacking in many aspects.

still a good game, even tho i remember it being way prettier.

good game, very informative. learned a lot about the pleistoscene epoch and jesus christ thats just what i wanted.
