haha fun fish game with friends very cozy.

Awesome gameplay, beautiful voice acting, Amazing story. Play it if you like beating people up, trial and error, greek mythology, or lovely stories.

One of the most innovative shooters I've ever played, I'm really excited to see where this game goes and want to see Embark Studios thrive.

Awesome gunplay, movement, the destruction mechanics are amazing and allow you to interact with the game in crazy ways, the game mode is unique, and the presentation is awesome with the announcers and intros and what not. The graphics are not "amazing" but they're good, really good I'd say and it serves this game well. Sound effects are cool and the UI is interesting but not too obtrusive.

I only have 3 complaints (and for a game that just came out that is really good) (AND THEY'RE REALLY SMALL)

1. Add a wall jump, the movement in this game is begging and pleading for just the ability to make a slight tap off of a wall for some extra momentum. Please embark I love you. It would hopefully be a small change and add so much more to a game where the movement is already great, and push it just enough to make it S tier.

2. In the future it would be nice to have some attachments for the weapons other than what's already on them, it would make certain guns in the game much more viable.

3. This one is a BIG maybe. Maybe take away one of the gadget slots so there's 1 ability, 1 weapon, 2 gadgets? However this might just me being bad at the game so take this with a huge grain of salt. There's a lot of gadget "spam" in the game with frags and stuff chunking off most of my health usually. There are definitely ways to avoid it though so maybe I'm just bad.

These are my 3 big "complaints' about the game, but even as the game comes this is a solid fresh take in the genre that I am really happy to play.

Oh also it's only 20gb and it's free. Take a note big game studios, this is what innovation looks like.

Fun game if you like mods and stuff. Not the best RPG, as always with Bethesda, but it's a fun open world adventure game, buy it on sale with the DLC because far harbor is awesome, Nuka world is pretty cool, and automatron is super cool for me because I love robots, but if you don't it's probably just okay.
I've got like 400 hours on xbox and ps4, so if you liked skyrim, you'll probably like this.
Very work in progress, great modding community, and you can turn the game into pretty much anything that involves guns or exploration or something.

Lots of cool wallpapers, cool wallpaper editor/ maker, and it's just a staple of my library.

This game bangs, pretty hard, it's a small file size, fun gameplay, runs really well, and is just plain fun, ESPECIALLY with friends.

If you like horde shooters and also are into the whole, go kill thing, get currency, upgrade stuff, repeat, loop of gameplay, this game is rly fun and also has just a pretty nerdy. but good vibe.

TLDR; Go buy, Rock and Stone!

TL;DR:
This game can be fun and relaxing, and an overall good experience with great controls and a pretty good multiplayer beta, but this game is a bit too pricey for the limited content you get. Wait for a sale or wait until more/better maps and challenges are added to the game.


Before I state my piece, I want to say this is a SEMI NEUTRAL review, I like t his game but there are some flaws that keep me from recommending fully

The Good:
The controls, they're buttery smooth and feel really natural (except for transition and freestyle) for a skating game, they're genuinely great and props to the devs for this.

The Meh:
The maps can get stale and this game doesn't get updates often but has a good bit of community content, not skyrim level of mods but still some cool maps and stuff. Customization is okay, the transition gameplay in this game can get a bit wonky, it's overall okay but could be better. Freestyle is non existent in this game but there doesn't seem to be much demand for freestyle so it's kind of a neutral point for most people.

The Bad:
You can only play with a controller so unless you've got an Xbox con lying around there's nothing you can do with this game. The price is too high, 30 is kinda pushing it at least for value of the game for me, I'm a cheap guy so take this with a grain of salt but for most people interested I'd say, $40 for this experience is too high, wait for a sale or wait until you've got a bit of money to burn and you want to play a skateboarding game, or just buy a skateboard and go skate mon ami. Last thing, challenges, this game has fine tutorials but there's not much to do, if you like having a blank canvas then it's not bad, and believe me it can be really fun, but some more/better challenges would be very, very nice. Like something like a S.K.A.T.E. Mode would be cool to play in multiplayer, or maybe something like gathering clips in different spots, unlocking cosmetics or stuff, some better challenges I'd say could really spice up the game, especially with multiplayer being in the game.
