This game is in early release and the hours you have to sink in just to feel like you scratched the surface is amazing. Absolutely one of the best games on the market.

I'd love to give this game a high rating but it uses poor mechanics to put on the front of being a "Difficult game." When I started playing I ran about 8-9 runs without a loss, figuring out the gimmicks of each fight pretty much out the rip. But then the game just starts giving you no info on enemies and gives them random attacks and abilities without much explanation to it. Many creatures you can decipher putting your curse over them. However, the devs refuse to keep this consistent. Some enemies have info and others don't have any even if they're just normal enemies.

I think the #1 problem with this game is the devs inability to make a difficult game and just one with piss poor mechanics. They neglect an undo button despite being incapable of making the hitboxes fit the units they are on. You will find a lot of attacks you send at big enemies will instead land behind them because the unit sways back and forth in it's spot as an animation while having a slim, non existent hit box. You will find this a lot with the meteor boss. Half the bosses are gigantic, causing you to attack square behind them instead of them for some reason.

The game is very unforgiving if you mess up, which in itself should be a good thing. However, you will find most things that ruin your runs are just huge oversights from the devs who will continue to pretend they made something good.

I'll add that I completed this game, it can be a good experience if you can get passed how piss poor the devs are at their work.

Hopefully they add an undo button to make up for their incompetence.

This game was incredible. Then they did stupid corporate greed ♥♥♥♥ again. I'm putting in a refund if this needs a Sony account now. Having a Sony account is like posting your credit card information on a public facebook page. This is not a safe transition.

This game is so freakin incredible. This needs a #2. Not like Exit the Gungeon. But something like this game specifically. The creators say the code became too fragile to work with but I still hope they find a way to recreate this on maybe a better engine. This game is absolutely mesmerizing around every turn with tons of guns and incredible combinations and tactics. This game will find a way to make every run feel unique and truly amazing. 10/10 would recommend.
