Another banger of a Creeper World game. I've been following for quite a while, and they've only gotten better each time. This one pulling from Falling Sand game, I appreciate the use of the mechanics, but the constraint in using them. I was worried I would going to be spending the whole time mixing different particles, but that element of the game is a welcome bit of interest.

I don't know. I've played the main story of every one of Knuckle Cracker's games and I've never been disappointed. This one is no different. The difficulty curve I think was well tuned. The challenge near the end was hard, but very doable, and the genre-shift right at the end was a delightful surprise, and was still well crafted.

Fun and relatively quick programmed movement game. A few minor bugs here and there, but overall a solid game.

A delightful game of casual but satisfying task completion with a fun narrative that shows love and care in its composition. I will finish this game in a while, delete it, and never play it again, and it will have been a beautiful experience. 10/10

I don't know how else to describe this...

It is a solid game with plenty of polish. Animations are awesome (though jumping leaves things to be desired). Combat has a good balance of simplicity, and interest. I can SEE why this is a good game.

But I am left feeling I should spend my time elsewhere. While I do really appricate how much is tracked for you and made clear regarding progress, it is... too much? The game kind feels like a series of tasks to perform. Which is really unfair for me to say because all games are kind of that...

I am torn, seriously. I am sure these criticisms apply equally to games I truly love. It might just be that Mad Max isn't my thing?

Something is missing. I don't know what. I am going to go now and reanalyze my life.

Wonderful party game with a lot of potential. Very quick to learn, and very easy to engage with.

Solid Tower Defense game. The story has a great balance of serious and funny, and I found it to enhance the experience. The gameplay itself is a wonderful balance between simplicity and complexity. Elements are added at a sensible pace so that you always feel like you have a good enough handle on the situation to succeed. Also in the late game there is a high enough skill ceiling to keep it engaging for a good long time. Easily my favorite Tower Defense game.

I do not recommend this game with a caveat.

This game is not for a savy player it would seem. It is not an exploration of the strangenesses of the concept a la DLC Quest. It is more intended as an educational tool which I would say would best serve teenagers or possibly a younger audience.

As an adult who loves games and has considered this type of thing, there does not seem to be anything new here. I did grin at the humor of much of the text and the sort of semi-intentional poor craftsmanship of the game.

I just can't recommend this game, and I think it is because I am not sure who the audience should be. I want to say it is for the more naive, but the early introduction and some of the more blatant jokes about how bad games like this can get (the ones that tell you they are bad) seem like they would ruin the effect. I want to say it is for the audience that finds this topic interesting, but I do not think you would find anything new here, just cyinical jokes of the state of some of the gaming industry which, while entertaining, do not make up for the money _and_ time invested in getting to them.

I will pick this back up, as it seems there may be more under the surface that I didn't hit in the first 17 minutes of gameplay. But right now initial impressions point to no.

Not the deepest or longest game, but well conceived with a very well put together aesthetic. If you know nothing of this game I would highly recommend you not look up any guides and not read any spoiler-type things unless you get completely stumped on how to continue. Much of the impact of this little gem of a game comes from its surprises.
