Took me 34 hours to get all achievements and it was fun throughout. Game is good.

The music's been updated and also has high quality .flac files now. This is great.
I watched so many playthroughs and easter eggs online, hence I originally decided to support the dev by buying this. I don't even own the base game.

Buy it. Buy it for your friends. It's good software and isn't very difficult to use.

If you have a beast of a PC, you'll have a great time. If you have a midrange PC, you're gonna have to spend some time optimizing this game and it will still run poorly.

Other than its terrible performance, the game itself is fantastic, albeit you as the player are a bit too comfy and powerful throughout most of it. There is definitely a lack of challenge most of the time.

The game so far is definitely less immersive than Monster Hunter World, but there's still plenty to enjoy, including catching endemic wildlife on the side.

Overall, it's worth the purchase, but it's also fine to wait for title updates and performance fixes first.

TL;DR 9/10, one of the best in its genre, worth full price (35€ is 3-4 days worth of food here).

Stunlock studios are masters of isometric hack'n'slash. They were always simply fully focused on PvP before, leaving casual play aside and thus too few people to fully experienced what they can do. This game has the combat of Battlerite, which feels amazing.
It also has the farming and progression style of Runescape, but way less grindy, less annoying.
The castle building system is similar to the Sims. It allows for great deal of visual customization, even if you're building practically. I know people who've spent 100 hours just building castles. There's people that have spent way, way more. Just check out some of the showcase videos on YT etc.

Combining all 3 of these systems in a cohesive progession system with a map that's just the right size, it seems the studio have finally mastered their craft. All prior game development from them has been put to great use in V Rising.

The co-op multiplayer experience is really fun with the clan system, where you can share castles. You can do PvE (which we did, essentially just building up 1 castle together) or PvPvE in open world. The former is a fun consistent progression while the latter is a brutal slaughterfest where your base gets raided and looted all the time and you fight for resources on the map.

I wish this game had more content, but looking at the playtime I've already put 92 hours into it and I've barely beaten the endgame, and that's with 4 player co-op in a PvE only server on normal difficulty (there's still brutal difficulty). Stunlock have finally done it. They made a game that both hardcore and casuals can also play, both solo and in multiplayer. They definitely deserve the success. I can't wait to see what they do next. Hopefully V Rising continues as well, either by DLC or a sequel.

Early Access Review
Weak to horror? Still recommend this.
Social anxiety? I still recommend this.

Great immersive game with friends. Even better when modded with MORE friends.

I've literally spent more than half of my gametime looking at animated cards, often with a friend. I have about 800 unique animated cards over years of light play. So damn many of them are absolutely gorgeous and often with fantastic voice acting and/or sound effects. Yes, I've been simply looking at and listening to Shadowverse cards for hundreds of hours of my life. Completely worth it. Best card game for this reason alone.

The gameplay is also decently fun and interesting for a cardgame. The pricing is alright for card gacha with lots of generous card pack giveaways and cheap ways to start out for newbies.

8/10 overall.

I've never seen so much wasted potential in any high budget game.

The biggest issue is matchmaking. Connecting to console hosts who constantly lag the living ♥♥♥♥ out of everyone and make the game unplayable combined with NOT having the option to play solo or only with your party completely killed any hope of continuing this game.
