This was my first experience playing a TellTale game and it was AWESOME! The beauty of it was you do not need any prior experience with the Borderlands games that came before. The voice acting and scripting were spot on and the gameplay itself was excellent. I really do hope there will be a season 2 where the adventure continues!

As a fan of the movie Alien when I read that there would be a PC game based on that universe which takes place 12 years after the end of the movie story my expectations were rather high since the debacle of the last Alien themed game which I will not mention here. This continuation on the Alien story was both refreshing, original, and in many ways a logical progression. Playing as a female protagonist, Amanda Ripley, was an excellent way to reinsert the PC player back into the story and carry on where things left off and that was just the tip of what I felt was done right. This is a very, very atmospheric game which helps convey the gravity of the various situations you will find Amanda in. The music changing when the Alien, Working Joes, or just plain hostile humans show up adds to the already tense situation. I've know some people who turned the music off as to not get too on edge when a big baddie starts hunting you. The reproduction of the late 1970s space tech is spot on with the movie. I've not seen that may CRTs since 1999! The motion detector, flame thrower, noise maker, EMP bomb, shotgun, pistol and just the plain old maintenance wrench are all invaluable when combating the aliens, androids, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. But this is not a FPS game at all. More akin to Thief you have to do plenty of sneaking around and hiding to keep from being shot, bludgeoned, or in the most terrifying of moments, impaled by the alien's mouth. Oh and there are face huggers later in the game as if there was not enough to make you not play this at night with your $200 surround sound headphones on. By the time your finished with the game the feeling that you survived makes a marked impression.

I finally finished up playing BioShock 2 and with it the whole BioShock experience. It was one exciting, immersive, moody, bloody, and in the end mind bending ride. Playing it out of order was not my intention but with playing through BioShock Infinite first sort of kick started me back into playing BioShock and BioShock 2. So it is done and again I feel wanting for more of the BioShock experience. Hopefully the next installment, reboot, or reincarnation of it will be as satisfying as what came before it.

PC games in my world are like books in my library. And like the books I own there are some that I have not read even though I bought them many years ago and may not read them for many years to come. But those books wait patiently for me to give them my attention. Same goes for my PC game library. Even though 'BioShock' came out in 2007 (I even have a box copy of the game) and have played it some in past years I never really got into it let alone finished it till just now. When I completed playing through 'BioShock Infinite' along with the two DLCs which took me back to Rapture I just figured it was time to actually complete the first installment of the series. And now I am asking myself why I waited seven years to play this in earnest!? It was such an immersive experience. An excellent, original, and creative story. I really feel like I cheated when I played through Infinite and the DLCs without getting 'BioShock' out of the way first. As you may have seen from the voluminous number of screen shots I took while plying my way through Rapture that I did want to keep some souvenirs of my journey. So now it's off to BioShock 2 and back to Rapture again. And hey, when I start to play that game only four years have passed since it was released back in 2010 so my average is getting better.

To be honest I was disappointed this game ended after just 6 hours of gameplay cause I was having such a good time! Glad that the Steam Workshop is attached to this and that there are some 463 other maps, stories, and variations on a theme for Gunpoint that can be experienced. This is also one of those games that you can play at work or at home since it is not that fast paced but it will tax your mind and patience some to complete some of the trickier levels. YouTube is your friend when it comes to hints to help here.

This is the follow on to the first Fortix game so there is a continuation of the story line from the first as well. Not that it is really deep in any sense of the word. Those veterans of the first game will see a graphics update which makes it look different but in a good way. The gameplay mechanics are the same but the enemies have a few new tricks that will be thrown in play so that makes it not so much a rehash of the first game but an evolution it the game itself. There is plenty to keep you busy and like the first game can be played at your leisure at home or at work. Also as with the first, Fortix 2 gets my recommendation. I had a good time playing this and I believe you will too.

What I was looking for was a lite game that was simple and fun to play which it delivered to the tune of many hours. It has several different difficulty levels so if you want an easy to difficult challenge, you can scale up your comfort level to what you want. The game's mechanic is nothing new and the theme may not be either however it does not in anyway distract from the entertainment that is offered. If you are looking for something to pass the time with, be it playing at work or at home, this gets my recommendation.

I am most likely just stating what many have said already about Dishonored and the Knife of Dunwall DLC but this game is exceptional! The storyline is most entertaining and even after the release of two story driven DLCs there is still plenty more to tell about this which I will be looking forward to. It is hard for me to believe that I spent 30 hours playing this and still feel as if I have only scratched the surface. I look forward to more Dishonored releases in the future with great interest.

My mind is still getting untwisted from the ending BioShock Infinite delivered. A truly incredible experience with a story that will make you want to play this game again as to make sure you did not miss anything! The character development of Booker DeWitt as he is taken through Columbia with Elizabeth is the glue that holds this game together. The present, past, future, then back to the past again really gives this game a rollercoaster feel. I will be looking forward to the DLC, Burial at Sea, as to see how events, technology, and characters in Infinite roll into BioShock 1. Can't wait!!

This was a good parallel addition to the Crysis storyline when you play as the character, Psycho, who is a member of the Raptor team as Nomad is in Crysis. It carries nicely as it fleshes out some of the missing pieces to the overall story and if you played Crysis you can figure out while playing Warhead where you were when playing as Nomad. This game is not nearly as long as the first game but has plenty of naughty North Koreans and nasty aliens that you just assume kill you as buy you a Starbuck's Frapp. And there are some weapons you get to use in Warhead that were not available in Crysis. Finally I was able to play through this game in DX10 with all settings on High (Gamer) with AA at 8 and vsync on.
