It's a game where the goal is to do nothing, but until you reach that goal you're building more and more complex machines to realize that achievement.

The pollution system is perfect, it automatically scales the difficulty of the game based on how inefficent your base is designed, as well as how far along you are.
Cant believe it took me this long to buy it. Absolutely worth the $20, I got far more value than that out of my purchase.
