A really good game, it's a looter with way more engaging combat, although the enemies could be a bit less generic.
It has some souls elements it looks like the developers must be souls fans but in no way this is clone.

The artwork is great, now, besides that the game is mediocre to bad, the gameplay is slow, the character models are bad and the physics non excistent, this game costs 13€, and there are tons of games with better graphics, better gameplay and better experience averall.
I know it's supposed to be an h game but it doesn't even do that good, at best it's mediocre at best.
I would recomended it at a way lower price but still i would find it boring.

Early Access Review
I don't trust early access games, but this one is really great, it need some improvements (like ragdoll for enemies) but overall, even in early access state, it is really enjoyable.

Amazing, simply amazing, Bethesda should hire those guys, the passion that they have and the effort they put in this game is out of this world.

So i just finished the game.

First of all I honestly can't understand the reviews that have only 2 or 3 hours spent on the game, if it had technical issues I would understand it, but it doesn't.
It's different from the other two games in terms of gameplay, the fighting system is way more punishing and you can't spam attacks or dodges without getting beaten for it it kinda reminds me DMC 3 (although with far less combos) and i believe that it's not a bad thing as many people say, it's a new company and they tried to make different gameplay.
The game visually and lorewise is definetly on the tracks of darksiders 1 and 2 and has a very nice and enjoyable story.
The character (Fury) seems a bit dull at first but it evolves, in a really nice way, towards a more complex character than the "bad ♥♥♥♥♥" that she seems to be.
It definetly has some influence from DS mainly in the punishing aspect and the fact that when you die you lose your currency (that for me is a plus beccause it raises the stakes of dying but it's a matter of taste).
I would like a bit more customizability, like more weapons, different armor sets (other than the collector's edition) and a bit more interaction with other characters.
Overall it's not a masterpiece nor a 10/10 game but it definetly is an enjoyable solid 7.5/10.

Great game, lovely art, the narrator is a funny addition and you get to be the bad guy!

So, this game is a true masterpiece, while you play the story, about 30-35 hours, there is not a single moment that the story relents, even when you play again as 9S for the first time (second playthrough) the story maybe the same but the whole perspective is different plus it provides new elements of the story, gaps that you may have found in the first playthrough. The third playthrough is a perfect closure making the first part of the game feel like a huge prologue in comparison which in my oppinion is great. The existential elements and nihilistic thoughts of both the machines and androids gives an even bigger depth to the narrative. Besides the story, the gameplay puts together medroidvania and twin stick shooter elements with a grat deal of hack n' slash and never gets boring. But there is a major issue, NieR, could also be visually stunning, but this sectors is where is falls short, it's a bad pc port (the cursor is on the screen when i am playing in fullscreen mode, the resolution doen't scale well, although i put it on 1080p and 1440p it runs at something else and the textures are mediocre at best for a 2017 AAA release) and the 14€ DLC witch provides nothing essential besides 3 skins and an arena mode, stuff that should be included in the 60€ price tag.
I would recomend buying it even at full price but wait for the dlc to get a discount.

Nope, nope aaaaand nope
Fixed resolution @768p, can't go fullscreen.
I don't really care about the graphics in a game if it's fun
but i can't stand to play it at my 1440p, 27' monitor.

I can't understand how other people recomend this game....
Even emulators can upscale...

Going to request a refund!
