had to use a dll file from a random github repo to get the game to launch on a 9800x3d. rtx 5080 system because for whatever reason the game try to communicate with igpu drivers and it closes immediately upon launch. if a game company cannot implement fixes to these types of issues, then i will never give that game a thumbs up

Early game the combat can get very cancerous against groups of enemies, and the game in general is janky. I still do love the 1v1 battles.
But there are only a very few other games that are as immersive and interesting as this one.
This would have been a perfect game for me if it had better combat and a minimap.

not a fan of the portal system, this should have been a halo clone cause in my region halo infinite is dead.
but im giving the thumbs down cause if i quit a match because of an inactive/♥♥♥♥ team, the game forced me to rejoin the same match.

Very impressed. Runs smooth, great responsive combat. Follows the souls like gameplay which I like but with its own mechanics too. And appreciate the developers letting people try it instead of forcing to buy.

Elden Ring is an overrated masterpiece. Yes it is a masterpiece but yes it is also overrated for two main reasons.
Way too many repeated bosses/mini bosses. There's literally remembrance bosses with the same skin I was dumbfounded why they didn't even try to make them unique.
The world is way too big with not much to do in most areas, sure there are tons of secrets but I couldn't find most of them myself without looking at online guides, probably cause this is my first souls game but still the open world didnt work that well with the rest of the game mechanics.

This game is no joke.

No servers for BR. Only casual mode is where I can get a match under 100 ping and that's full of bots. The BR mode seems to be dead where i live. And yeah. ♥♥♥♥ the aim assist from controller players.

Completely dead, at least where I live. This game also tries to make me wait for a match that never happens with one or two other players in the lobby. It also just drops me into completely empty servers at times. If there no players, return me to the menu after a short while, do not waste my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time with BS. Absolutely horrendous.

The game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dead. Quick match only lands in empty servers and server browser only shows custom matches made by chinese idiots with just a pistol allowed.

Don't care much for the portals but the shooting mechanics are some of my favorite. I enjoy this game more than Halo infinite and that's telling something.
