Possibly my favorite Total War game I've played out of all of them. Takes place during the dark ages all the way up to the start of the Renaissance age. Map includes all of Europe, North Africa, and a large portion of the Middle East. Graphics are nothing amazing but they are good enough that it doesn't look bad. Besides just being a fun game it also has some hilarious banter between factions, here's one exampe: English General: "Our foes, the French, it is said, are better lovers than they are fighters. This is true lads, ask any goat, pig or other farmyard animal."

Owned this game for my Xbox 360 and WII U, bought it on Steam as well because its just that fun. There almost seems to be an endless amount of unlockables to collect. At the moment I've beaten all the difficulties including Non-Stop ∞ Climax and I still don't even have all the Umbran Tears, weapons, costumes nor all characters unlocked yet. Even if you get all those things you can also attempt to get platinum trophies in all chapters, the replayabilty is definately there.

The only thing I negative I have to say against Bayonetta is that your first playthrough has to be on normal, you can't start on anything higher than that. This game doesn't really start unless you play on at least Hard, it drastically changes the way the game is played. Witch Time doesn't last as long (Non-Stop ∞ Climax completely gets rid of it), enemies move a lot faster, don't leave as much openings of getting counter-attacked; overall the game's pace goes up and always keeps you on your toes... or in this case, your heels!
