I don't write reviews very often, but when a game like GRIS crosses my path, I simply have to.

First off, this is much more an experience than just a game. And yes, the gameplay is very simple and not very complex, and it's a pretty short game (around 3 hours, more if you wanna go for all achievements), but oh boy does it pack a punch.

I honestly don't think I have anything bad to say.
It's the most beautiful game I've ever played. Period. (In more ways than just the visuals)
The gameplay is crisp and responsive.
The level and puzzle design is clever and varied (though sometimes in subtle ways, but it works perfectly).
The handdrawn artstyle, the animation, the atmosphere, the sound design and music are all on point and powerful in the best way imaginable.
The story is told through the environment and the creatures in the game, as well as the main character, in a way I couldn't possibly begin to describe.

Several moments in the game sent chills throughout my body, and some even made me shed a tear.

Easy 10/10
In my opinion a must play for basically anyone.
