A profound and heartfelt little game filled with emotion. It starts a bit slow, but by the end I found myself tearing up for the first time in a long time. It's hard to explain, but I became attached to all the characters in this story without even realizing it, feeling the same sense of melancholy, longing, perseverance, loss, and hope that they did along the way. I can't recommend this game enough, it's a wonderful lesson in storytelling that I'll be thinking about for a very long time.

Early Access Review
Amazing game. I was looking for something to scratch the "Factorio" itch, and Satisfactory goes above and beyond expectations, especially for an Early Access game. I'm honestly baffled by how in-depth the "factory" and optimization aspects of the game are, while there's still so much to explore in such a beautiful world (with several different massive map options)! I've played over 100 hours co-op, and although there's definitely some buggy multiplayer issues and network lag, we still had a great time and can't wait for the full release.

One of my favorite games of all time. The writing is amazing, the combat is fun, the world is filled to the brim with interesting characters, quests, and content, and the choices you can make are near limitless. On top of all of this, the co-op is the most enjoyable multiplayer I've ever experienced in a game, and it adds a whole new dimension to gameplay (rather than just layering "more players" on top of the existing game).

I don't usually like platformers, and it took a couple hours for this game to click for me, but oh man once it did, I was hooked. The mechanics, enemies, tight combat and high skill ceiling made this game a work of art... but the music, ambience, characters, animation, style, and beautiful zones in this game made it a masterpiece. Would recommend even to people that don't usually play this type of game, because I don't, and I still loved it.

It's a bit hard to describe why exactly I love this game so much. I don't really think "fun" is the write word to describe it. Dark, deep, brooding, political, often depressing, infrequently motivating, but always entrancing. The writing is incredible, probably some of the best writing in a game I've ever encountered. I never connected with the main-character so much as pitied him, but nevertheless was completely invested in completing his insane journey. More than anything, the game is unique, in it's world, characters, mechanics, storytelling, and so much more. I definitely recommend this game, but be prepared to think (and maybe question life a little) while you experience it!

Beat Saber is the closest thing VR has right now to a killer app, and I love it. With more music than ever, amazing hand-crafted beatmaps, and enough difficulties to challenge even the most seasoned players, this game is a must-own for VR enthusiasts and a first-buy for new VR owners. I play this game on both Vive and Quest at least once a day as a form of exercise, and have already lost a ton of weight from Beat Saber alone. I couldn't recommend it more!

This is easily one of my favorite games of all time. The writing is fantastic, the overall tone of the game always appropriately matches the current context (serious for story beats, ridiculous and funny otherwise), and in general the level of polish is beyond what I even expected. Not to mention the world, combat, story, and characters themselves are extremely well done. There's so much creativity packed into this game, and it truly is unique enough that I've never played another RPG like it.

The first time I played this game, I played it co-op with a friend, and the resulting shenanigans were hilarious but also added a lot to the game. I'd definitely recommend playing with someone else, if you're able to. I always play a sneaky rogue-like character who steals everything, but my friend played a lawful-good warrior who did everything possible to stop me and even get me caught when trying to steal (and flee when I was facing the consequences). Our dynamic and how our actions affected the world as a result (he had to do all the talking since everyone hated me) really immersed us in the world and made us feel like we truly had agency together in the game.

The second time, I played by myself, and although I'd still recommend playing with a friend, it was just as enjoyable the second time when I had full control over my entire party. This is a game that came out of nowhere and rapidly made it onto my top games list, and I can't wait for future Larian games, because they really nailed it with this one.

I played and loved the original Fallout 4 (currently the most hours out of any game on my account), and I'm also a VR enthusiast + developer. I've only played a few hours so far (and will update my review if anything changes), but I wanted to put my initial thoughts out there to help anyone currently considering the purchase.

When the game runs well and isn't lagging, Fallout VR is awesome! Graphically, it's a bit blurry (though not much worse than other VR games I've played) and definitely dropping some frames here and there, but I'm only just at the min spec with a GTX 1070. Additionally, my character is surprisingly short (though I'm not very tall in real life, not sure if that's relevant). Character customization seems to have been dumbed down to presets only, which disappointed me a bit. Otherwise, the gameplay is fantastic!

It's clear that Bethesda took time to specifically design this game for VR. There's direct movement options which I enjoy more than teleport... and even better, there's an option to actually crouch to sneak (not required, but I love it). Settlement building/management (which, believe it or not, was one of my favorite aspects of the original Fallout 4) is vastly improved and actually easier in VR than it was in the original game. Aiming and firing guns in VR is always fun, and that's still true (and they got the gun positioning relative to controllers right). The new VATS is great, and although it's different from the original, the slow-time works well in VR and makes aiming even more enjoyable. The controls are fairly intuitive for anyone that's spent some time using the Vive, and although I was skeptical about the Pip-Boy wrist decision, it actually works pretty well once you get used to the touchpad controls.

Overall, if you have the monster system to support this game, and can tolerate a bit of lag/blurriness here and there, I would strongly recommend giving this game a chance! It's one of the better VR titles I've played already, and bringing the Fallout 4 world to life in VR is a surreal experience that I look forward to exploring further.

I don't think I've been so thoroughly affected by a game in a very long time, if ever. I would absolutely recommend this game for anyone that loves moral ambiguity or existential themes. The combat is fantastic and the gameplay is incredible, but it's the plot and the deep themes of this game that make it one of the best games I've ever played.

The PC version isn't perfect (I had some issues right from the start when I tried running it at 4k resolution and was getting roughly 5 frames per second), and I definitely recommend playing with a controller, but with those technical imperfections aside this game is nierly perfect (haha, get it, nierly?)

If you take the time to fully enjoy this game and immerse yourself in the world, then you're in for an emotional (and existential) rollercoaster. The plot is complex, and you'll have to dig deep to grasp the full meaning of the game, but if you do then I can almost guarantee you'll keep wanting more. I stared at the screen for a good 15 minutes at the end, questioning the type of person I am and what it even means to be human. You'll be forced to reflect on each and every one of your actions as you play, and whether or not those actions are justified is a question that exists at the core of the experience.

If plot matters to you, play this game. If you like to think, play this game. If you're prepared to question everything about yourself, then absolutely play this game.
