Expedition 33 is the game that made me fall in love with an RPG again. I love how the turn based style combat also have the real time elements. Seeing the characters move and react feels so badass.

I really like how forgiving the system is with re-spec your character if you want to change things. It became a huge relief. I could not sleep at night knowing I lost to a French monster.

I saw the game and bought it on impulse because I liked the movie and books it was based on. The game kinda reminds me of Crash Bandicoot but not as zany. You can jump on enemys with Abe, Meg, and Chickenhare. You can crack their whips on baddies, crush them with Abe's tortoise shell or mow them down on an incline like a Koopas revenge fantasy.

With Meg the skunk you can whip out the kung fu moves like she did in the movies. She can smoke a crowd of baddies by lifting her big fluffy tail to unleash this super braap attack. She does it with a style thats very European in design. when its charged up. Controls are easy to remember and it plays great on my Deck Oled in high settings. Wish the camera controls were a little better, the cam feels far away at times, part of why it reminded me of Crash Bandicoot.

If you are a fan of the movies, you may find joy in this game if you like that platform element. Each character have different moves that come into play but you can switch between them at will. Kinda reminds me of Sonic Heroes in that aspect. Give it a try.

Haven't played a Harry potter game in years and Hogwarts Legacy was a fantastic entry to get back into the wizarding world. Ever since I got around to a certain area in a certain Tarnished Game, I always thought about a game where youre a nobody spell caster in a school of wizards and dark artists. The immersion in Hogwarts Legacy made me feel like reading and watching the Potter series all over again and I loved it. The controls were easy for my muscle memory to absorb even as the options were expanded as progression escalated. The game made me feel like my choices mattered and made me want to soak in any information the characters teased my eyes and ears with.
Some puzzles even reward the biggest Potter heads for their knowledge and I was surprised some even clicked for me. No spoilers on that end but I wasn't even planning on getting this game, let alone at full price but certain things pushed me and Im glad I got in.
I love Hogwarts Legacy

Its an easy pick up and play multiplayer game. Enjoy the hard hit easy to use challenging to master gameplay with the weapons and vehicles. Wish the game had more gyro support for aiming though, This is my first toe dip into Halo as a Nintendo laddy. See why many like Halo.
