Doesn't support Linux. Mouth breather OS only.

Edit: Picked it up on PS5 and game slaps. Support Linux, Bungo.

These MBA ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ implemented anti-cheat that doesn't work on Linux AFTER selling it to people. Codemasters sucks ass anyway as a result of being owned by said MBA ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at EA.

Luckily, Assetto Corsa Rally has come along and doesn't appear to be controlled by lizard people intent on destroying fun in the world.

Early Access Review
I hate building stuff but I do like automation and shooting things. I feel tricked into liking this genre, well done.

I kept using steel wool to try and get the Starfield off but it just wouldn't work. Thanks Obsidian! With the power of Outer Worlds 2 I'm now finally able to scrub off the depressing ichor of intergalactic failure.

I needed this. Feels like a damn RPG where my choices matter. The world is expanded on in comparison to the previous Outer Worlds. The voice cast and performances are stellar and the dialog is fantastically satisfying.

Edit: This review was quite possibly probably over-optimistic. The narrative ended up petering out for me and there were only a couple of the party memebers I found to have much depth. Some of the later areas felt like I was forcing myself to go forward and the payoff wasn't incredible. Would still recommend if you're a fan of the first as it improves on it in almost every way.

Ahh yes, we've been expecting you. You'll have to be recorded before you're officially released. There are a few ways we can do this, and the choice is yours.

Morrowind/10

I hate horror without player agency. This is absolutely horror, but my agency claps back about 6 at a time.

This story and world sits within the realm of Cronenberg and Carpenter for me, but if they had an unlimited an unreasonable budget. The world is not unfamiliar, having grown up in 80s and 90s Europe. Some of the pottery even looks like the stuff we'd get dragged across the border to go buy in the land of cheaper hair salons and potato dumplings. So for me, this successfully ties both the American films I would eventually stumble upon and the European places I haunted into a tense forward slog punctuated by violent flashes of combat that are over as quick as they start. You're either reloading a save, or you somehow made it. Only to scrounge for some ammo, maybe it's enough ammo?

There are stutters on my 4070ti and 13700k. Can't express how not cool that is, but I'm willing to accept it in this case because the content is that enjoyable to consume. It is upsetting that Unreal Engine 5 is a constant point of pain and discussion in regard to modern gaming. Personally I would rather play with less visual fidelity and a smooth uninterrupted experience. But, such is our calling.

May have more thoughts by the time I finish, but I don't care if the end is cohesive, and at this point I've got my money's worth. I like it here. Someone had a vision and executed on it, with what feels like few compromises. Cronos is a good new IP.

The Vocation continues.

I have this and I'm pretty sure it's my fault for not reading before starting it in the campaign. Half these areas are alrightish and the other half are kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Will power through but holy ♥♥♥♥ this is painful.

GUI Fixes: https://www.nexusmods.com/bioshock/mods/5

HD Texture Pack (Upscaled from OG textures and also handmade): https://www.nexusmods.com/bioshock/mods/54

Visual fixes and original aesthetics for Bioshock Remastered: https://www.nexusmods.com/bioshock/mods/90

With the three mods above this is now superior visually to the original without jeopardizing vibe. Was horribly disappointed the first time I played this game but these three mods fix basically every single gripe I had.

Really a great way to experience a gem from 2007. Not a lot of shooters at the time (or now) that made you stop and think, or set you down a path of certain literature. I never would have thought to crack the cover of any Rand stuff without having played Bioshock first.

One of the more refreshing changes is an FOV slider. When I first played Bioshock on a 360 way back when the FOV was restrictive and I falsely thought that lent itself to the claustrophobic atmosphere. The world of Rapture is absolutely no less claustrophobic at a nice 110 degree field of view. In fact, you're able to just take in that much more of how hopeless your situation appears to be.

Having to manually switch between controller and KB/M feels like clown ♥♥♥♥ but hey, 2K is a small company and that problem probably costs multiple thousands of dollars to solve.

If you play this get the mods or it legit looks worse than the original release in places and it can be extremely distracting.

Far as the game goes the story is engaging, the pacing is fantastic and the game shepherds you through linear areas with a few extras you can discover. The linearity does not detract from the feeling of being trapped in a vast underwater city. Levine and team maintain the illusion successfully the entire time in my estimation. The enemies are fun to fight and the tools with which you wreck their ♥♥♥♥ are fun to use. The dance between firearm and plasmid is satisfying and I've never set bees upon a bunch of dudes from my owns hands then hit them with the Tommy Gun without experiencing a large amount of dopamine release. It works every time.
