If you've played any "Harvest Moon" type game it won't be too long until you feel at home in "Stardew Valley." This game has everything I've come to expect from those build-your-farm-up-from-nothing type games but still manages to feel fresh. The game’s art and graphics are well done and the music is catchy.  But it wasn’t just the game's aesthetics that won me over; there are quite a few new surprises in story and gameplay that really make “Stardew Valley” stand out from others in this genre.  I haven't enjoyed an indie game this much since FTL and Banner Saga.
