Really fun game. Interesting twist on the Survivorslike genre. The upgrades are really fun. Love the flying cars.

Early Access Review
It's a pretty fun casual fighting game with an autocombo system. Shaolin vs Wutang 1 and 2 have better rosters though. This game has better customization than Shaolin vs Wutang 2. It also has the best soundtrack for all the games made by the same developer. Don't expect a technical fighting game like Tekken or Street Fighter.

Feels like a hybrid of Shaolin vs Wutang 1 and Fighter's Legacy. The super attacks are back from SvW1 and you get to customize your character's appearance like in Fighter's Legacy. However, the customization is not as in depth. For example, you can only change your outfit or remove the shirt off your character or change the color. In Fighter's Legacy, you can choose facial hair style, jewelry, gloves, shoes etc. This is the 4th game made by the same developer and I only recommend getting it if it's on sale. All of the games are pretty much the same thing, but SvW1 has the largest roster.

It's not worth its asking price.

I'm extremely disappointed with this game. After waiting 17 years for a sequel to Budokai Tenkaichi 3 this game is a huge letdown. It feels incomplete and rushed. It seems like they were pressured to release this around the same time as Dragonball Daima.

My main beef with the game is the input delay. Everytime you press a button, the character won't do it until a qtr of a sec after you press it. It becomes an issue when fighting against ultra aggressive CPU. You'd have to block before they even attack you. It's almost impossible to chain into supers because of the input delay.

The tracking is also terrible at least for human players. The CPU seems to always connect their supers no matter where they do it from. But when I try to do Rush Attacks, I'll fly right by the computer and miss. I'll miss 4/5 times. The only times I can land them is part of a combo, but even then I'll land it 3/5 times. The hit detection is AWFUL. Sometimes you can be standing right next to the enemy, and you'll still miss your regular attacks.

They hyped up customization, but the only customization is to add halos or remove scouters off of characters. The roster is also pretty bad. A lot of missing characters from BT3 and missing Super 17. But they have lame characters like Ribrianne from Super. There are better characters to choose from DBS, but they chose the lame ones.

A lot of people complain about the story mode, but I actually thought it was ok. I like the branching paths and what-ifs. I will say that it's super lame that there are a lot of Outfits and Forms in the storymode that you're UNABLE to use outside of it. Idk why. The character model already exists, so why can't we use it in the other modes? SSJ Scouter Vegeta is so cool, but he's locked to story mode only. The customization is trash.

The custom story editor is super disorganized. The modes/scenes/dialogue is not in alphabetical order and it takes forever to navigate through everything. I don't understand why they couldn't just alphabetize everything.

All in all, I can only recommend this at a discount price of $40 or less. It's not worth more than that. Even as a big DBZ fan, it's not worth it. You'd find more content and entertainment from the BT3 mod called BT4. That mod has way more characters, outfits, and entertainment than Sparking Zero.

I wished I woulda refunded this when I had the chance. I had a bad feeling at the 1h40min mark and shoulda just refunded it, but played some more and now it's too late to refund. This is not worth $70 or even $50 for that matter.

I never had any issues in regards to speed or FPS. If you enjoyed the SNES version, you'll enjoy this. It's the same game. I also want to mention that if you go the Menu option, you can change it from Super Double Dragon to the Japanese version, Return of Double Dragon for the control changes and longer final mission.

This is game is pretty boring tbh. It's like a worse version of Friday the 13th.

The maps are too large. You spend most of the match running around looting for supplies to escape. Victims can gang up and abuse Klowns. Victims can also crouch/walk the entire match to remain undetected from Klowns since they only see noise from running.

Klowns are slow and weak. Lure is the only useful ability.

Lastly, there are mixed info about whether or not you get XP after leaving a match. It seems that once you die or escape, you have to watch your teammates finish the match or else you won't get any XP. Other people are saying that you get it anyways even if you leave. I'm not sure, but the gameplay loop itself is boring.

The map is way too large. Boring for Klowns and Victims tbh. Only fun to be had is to gang up on Klowns.

If you're looking for an asymmetrical horror game, the best one gameplay wise is Texas Chainsaw Massacre. TCM has lobby issues and can be glitchy, but the gameplay loop is much more fun than Killer Klowns and the maps in TCM aren't overly large.

Don't get the game. You will be forced to link your Steam account with a PSN account by June 2024. Even if you don't have a PS5, you still have to make an account just to link it with your Steam account. Sony is KNOWN for data breeches. They've been hacked multiple times.

I remember in the 2011 Sony data breech, my credit card number got stolen and I had to cancel that card. Sony claims that they want to link your Steam account to PSN accounts for security purposes which is complete nonsense. They are terrible at handling security/customer data.

Onto the game itself, the game WAS fun, but every patch has made the game worse. The patch that came out in May was one of the worst. They nerfed almost all the viable weapons in the game and gave a slight buff to all the trash weapons. So now there are no good weapons, just trash weapons and okay weapons.

The game also has a Warbond/Battlepass system. They normally nerf weapons right before the new Warbond/Battlepass comes out. The weapons in the Battlepass are good, UNTIL the next Battlepass release. Once a new Battlepass is out the good weapons in the previous Battlepass get nerfed to entice players to buy the new Battlepass.

They also increased spawn rate of Elite enemies for Solo mode to try to force people to play multiplayer.

The game also has all kinds of glitches. I've been stuck on terrain and walls more times than I can count. I get at least 1 crash per play session. The different game settings in the options menu doesn't even work. Like you're supposed to be able to set it so the game remembers your aiming type so you don't have manually switch to FPS, but I still have to manually change to it everytime.

Certain HUD info won't ever appear even though you turn it on in Settings. And I have to keep manually changing my display to Fullscreen everytime I start the game. It keeps starting in Windows mode even though I have Fullscreen selected.

No game is perfect. I was willing to overlook the flaws of this game because it WAS a fun game. But each patch made the game worse and less fun. The most recent patch already made me not want to play the game anymore, but this whole fiasco with linking your Steam account to a PSN Sony Account is the final nail in the coffin. I am NOT trusting Sony with my data/Steam account.

I will play this game until the deadline, then delete it forever.

By the way, I normally don't like to leave negative reviews, but the Community Manager for Helldivers 2, Spitz , addressed the situation by telling people that he doesn't care and to stop complaining, and to leave a negative review on Steam if they had a problem. So I'm doing what he suggested, leaving a negative review.

Helldivers 2 was a great game and gave me some of the most gaming fun I've had in recent memory, but given the way this situation was handled, I will NEVER buy another Arrowhead game again. Spitz and Arrowhead were extremely unprofessional in the way they handled this and I hope they lose all their players.

P.S. the original Helldivers sucked.

Game is being delisted by the end of 2023. Might want to buy it just to have it in your library since there is a single player campaign and you can still play online against bots until the end of 2024. You can still play with other players, but apparently those servers are mostly hacked.

Early Access Review
Don't buy this game. It's going to be abandoned.

Lack of communication from developers, updates becoming less and less frequent, unable to meet roadmaps, and constant delays of updates, and updates that don't fix anything but add more problems.

This game will be abandoned by next summer at the latest. As of now, almost all boxers play the same way. Most boxers have the same movement and punch animations. They're just skins essentially. They have server issues for online. Online is full of cheaters and hackers. There's no reason to buy this game. None of the problems have been addressed.

DO NOT trust the positive Steam reviews. The majority of the positive reviews are fake. They all have generic one line reviews like "greatest boxing game ever" or "better than Fight Night." However, all these reviewers have less than 1 hr logged into the game. They also have no other games in their game library. They only have Undisputed in their game library and have less than 1 hr of game play logged in. These are clearly fake reviews.

I would not put it past the developers to resort to such tactics to fool people into buying their incomplete and shoddy game. It is a known fact that they ban people on their official discord for criticism. Their communication team has also swore and argued with dissatisfied customers. Very unprofessional and unethical business practices.

You're better off playing Fight Night on emulators cus this isn't the boxing game we've been waiting for. If you buy this game, know that it will be abandoned.

Really fun deckbuilder

It's a fun deckbuilding game. If you like deckbuilders, you will like this. This is a must play especially if you're a fan of the Three Kingdoms era. My only complaint is that the game only goes to the battle with Dong Zhuo. I thought it would at least go to the battle of Chi Bi. It's kinda short. A lot of unlockables but a bit on the short side. The translations are also a little rough.

Overall, it's a fun deckbuilder and worth its asking price.
