Lack of players in low rank makes learning the game without a mentor a real headache. Therefore not recommended.

If you are a pro smash or RoE1 player, by all means go for it, but with the current situation I would just play brawlhalla instead.

Wanted to get back into this game, just to discover that it is basically unplayable with external controller on steam deck...

Got banned for no reason. just found out after wanting to return to the game.

Good idea, not so good execution.

Clunky controlls (takes a lot of time to get used to) Edit: A lot better after remaping my controlls.

Boring defensive "Bash-meta" Edit: The heroes have more openers now. bashing still anoying, but can be more easily countered.


Could be a lot better with combat(Proper Timeouts, chip-damage, etc) and character(Warden seams pretty solid after rework, so more of that for all the other heros pls) reworks. Edit: It seems, that they are working on it.

It has potential.
Also I'm not that experienced yet, so this review may change as I get more hours in.
