I have played the OG game however I have not played a lot of survivor game For being early access it is pretty well put together. I have not come across any major game breaking bugs not to say there wont be. Coming from the OG game it is cool to see how the same elements work reworked for this game. It has all the same sass and humor as the OG game but with a nicer Art style (IMO)
IF you liked these survivor type games you might find more issues with it or might enjoy it. What might deter some people is the high skill curve for this particular game. If you dont know how to play a class well then the higher difficulties might turn you off for seemingly being impossible to complete.

Not a very particularly hard game. The puzzles are not hard to figure out, clever, but no hard. Short compared to other story based games but that's the point. There is very much hidden in the game. Rewarding those players that go out and explore. For the first half of the game it does get a bit bogged down with seemingly the same repetitive nature. However the story shines the further you keep going paying off in the end with a positive but emotional message.
I couldn't get enough. I knew I would like it before buying, but damn. Very few games grab me like this , Tunic was the most recent example. Man, F- you for being so good. Thanks for letting me feel. Highly recommend this game

Hands down my game of the year. Just an all around perfect game from story line, puzzles, mechanics, controls, graphics, and referees.
