Super underrated & KCD2 was my GOTY 2025. Feels bad it didn't get recognized more. I loved it so much it drove me to go back and play more KCD1.

Warhorse is hitting their stride & I can't wait to see what's next.

Been waiting to play this forever! So glad Greenheart games put in the love into this the game deserves. Excited to play more on the roadmap to 1.0!

I mostly like this game, but just like the last Battlefield, it sucks to have to have so many caveats come with it. Looking back at some of the old Battlefield games and thinking about how good and timeless the experience is, then thinking about how this really won't feel particularly special in the future is sad.

Sure the BF formula is great & I will continue playing with my friends, but here are some things that I think have not advanced that is really not asking for much for the "advancement" of the franchise:

• Large scale epic, memorable maps with identity that feels unique. (like every other BF game before this one)
  
• A menu that isn't a nightmare to use. How is this always two steps backwards?
  
• Paying $100 for a game where you're supposed to be able to host your own servers, but you're never able to host servers because they are always at capacity is embarrassing.
  
• Unlocks & Assignments that respect players time. Not saying they need to unlock in one sitting, but they should reflect reality. 300 LMG suppression assists? 100 grenades intercepted by a trophy system?
  
• Concise plans and communications about how things the state of the game (e.g. Portal and progression): not this whiplash of confusion. Listening to player feedback is good, but just constantly changing your mind and not having a clear vision for the direction of the game is wild.

Also I know no one cares, but why did they even try and do a single player if they were going to do such a middling one? I am no Call of Duty simp, but the Modern Warfare remakes (I & II) had such amazing campaigns. It gave me high hopes that this game would do something in that vain, but they didn't even come close. They clearly tried to emulate a combination of those games + some inspiration from the previous BF campaigns but it fell so flat. If it's not going to be on par with the CoD campaigns, it's honestly better to just not include it or not even try, and just commit those resources to the Multiplayer or something else entirely. It did nothing to help flesh out this franchise or build out this world.
