this game made me dead inside until i saw the epilogue

i went all the way to the rooftop for the apartment and missed the hidden room the marine was chilling in


i promptly died getting sniped by the mosque sniper going to reinforce my squad instead of trying to keep looking

would i do it again? yeah sure

aside from the ridiculous paywalls for dlcs and even new game plus (i paid 100 bucks for the ultimate edition silly me don't care)

this game is worth playing unless you're one of those yakuza fans who go "BLEHHH" just from the fact that it's turn based action (aside from the fact that we've been eating beat em' up slop since 2005 so i find that argument hilarious)

also yeah i somehow accumulated 100+ hours across an entire weekend since the game dropped, that's how much i enjoyed it.

that scene where kiryu was crying got me all sad and ♥♥♥♥

guys i did 100% completion now i will have to wait until november where i will suffer the same fate for gaiden

played as uncle ruckus and walked around nude like true thug hunter style

you know, i got all the achievements under 25 or so hours of gametime, and then i thought it would be funny to make it look like i only played it for 37 hours, so i left my game on for a couple hours until it reached that time mark. i'm not a coomer, i swear. the things i had to do to get certain achievements have left a scar on my memory. i have not touched this game since 2021
