An incredibly somber story with tragic characters experiencing endless hardships that grips you until the credits roll. The detail in the dialogue and eerily haunting music immerses you into each heart-wrenching tale. It starts to feel like repetitive suffer-porn after awhile, but the game's 2nd half breathes new life into the story while also introducing some new dialogue styles. For a VN there are not many choices considering the length of the game, but the ones that do arise are poignant and are all stressful to make. The only negative for me was the lack of animation in general. I am excited at the prospect of some animated adaptation to solve that issue although very unlikely. Regardless, it is incredibly haunting tale I will remember for the rest of my life and I cannot recommend it enough. $25 is a fair price for this quality.
