The hate of this game is MASSIVELY overblown online. Excellent music, voice acting, graphics and fun (if not particularly deep) action RPG gameplay.

Gun do immersive, thematic, assymetrical competitive games better than anyone. TCM is gorgeous, tense and great fun, though I would advise any new players that there is a bit of a steep learning curve. Prepare to be bullied / killed a lot in your first several hours but once you get through that, it's a fantastic game. Keep in mind Friday 13th was one of my favourite games ever made, but I came into this with no biases other than I liked Gun's previous game(s).

This game is truly a pleasant surprise - I was a Kickstarter backer but did not have particularly high hopes for it regardless. But now that it is out, and being supported brilliantly by its developers, it's the slasher horror simulator that I never knew I wanted!
