HUGE step up from 4. Combat, great. Music, amazing. Story, fantastic. Considering the game was made in the Ishin engine, it works amazingly well. Love the new rage feature. Makes combat against large numbers feel so good once its used. The way the game awards achievements feels much more rewarding than the other games. Specifically Yakuza 4. I feel as if it didnt reward the player with achievements as much as it should have in Yakuza 4. Point is, Yakuza 5 is amazing. 10/10

Pretty dang good. The combat has become a little bit better since 3, not as frustrating, but still annoys me a bit. The introduction to all these new characters is awesome, making the combat and fighting for each character a blast. (When its not being annoying.) The story relies too much on Yasuko, and I feel its the only thing that starts to connect the protagonists together. Overall, 8/10.
