It takes a bit to get 'hooked' on the game, but the story is so deep and can be played so many ways that it's very entralling!

My only qualm with the game is the amount of reading dialog. Much of the main story is voiced, but a good bit of it isn't. I tend to want to skip past stuff that isn't voiced, but you really shouldn't (and I didn't) in this game. The story really is just amazing, and you can easily play the game more than once. I really enjoyed it.

The combat isn't as tactical as some other games, but the fast paced combat makes it a lot of fun.

I would highly reccomend this game to anyone who is a fan of this genre, and just warn that while the story is one of the most deep in any games I've played, you also have to read a lot to hear the story.

I really loved the game.

Survival games are everywhere now, but this one takes a fun new twist on the genre. You generally don't want to fight, and it's rather hard to survive compared to most games. The darkness aspect also gives the game almost a horror feel. Especially on the steam sale, this game is easily worth the money!

So much fun, especially considering the price tag. Hours of replayability (if you don't rage first, lol).

It is a Rogue-like, so you will die and restart often.

If you enjoyed Terraria, you will absolutely adore this game. It's almost like Terraria 2.0! There is just so much more added to the game, and while I haven't played 'end game' in either game, I can say Starbound improves on just about every aspect of the game.

Everything being randomly generated might sound like a gimick at first, but it creates a lot of fun when exploring. It adds new weird looking monsters, that may or may not be agressive. It brings in strange plant life, and interesting biomes.
